기계문명과 자본주의가 극도로 치달은 미래의 디트로이트시. 자동차 산업이 쇠퇴해 재정적자에 허덕이는 시 당국에서는 재벌기업 '오씨피(OCP)'에다 치안을 맡긴다. 시에서 경찰국 운영비를 체불하자 회사측에서는 곧바로 경찰의 임금과 연금을 삭감한다. 경찰은 노조를 결성해 파업을 하고 치안부재의 거리에서 위협을 느끼는 시민들은 경찰서에 몰려와 항의를 한다. 경찰력을 보강하기 위해 제작된 로봇 경찰 로보캅이 겨우 경찰업무를 메꿔가고 있다. 재벌 기업 OCP에서는 이 기회를 이용해 아예 디트로이트시를 인수해 버릴 계획을 세운다. 미치광이 로보캅을 만들어 거리에서 혼란을 일으키게 한 뒤 시를 장악하겠다는 것. OCP측의 심리학자 팍스는 뇌를 빌려올 대상을 범죄자 중에서 찾던 중 범죄자 캐인의 신병을 구하게 된다. 마약 단속을 나간 로보캅 머피와의 결투 끝에 중태에 빠진 캐인은 이렇게 해서 '로보캅 2'로 다시 태어난다. 한편 캐인의 부하인 앤지와 호브는 쿠작 시장을 유인, 5천만 달러를 낼테니 마약 단속을 중지 하라고 요구한다. 이들이 흥정을 벌이고 있을때 OCP에서 시장을 미행하기 위해 내보낸 로보캅 2가 나타나 충격을 가하는 바람에 마약 공장은 아수라장이 되고 시장은 하수구를 통해 겨우 살아나온다. 지불날짜를 지키지 못해 결국 시는 재벌기업 OCP에 넘어가고 시를 인수한 OCP 사장은 기자들에게 미래의 새로운 도시계획을 설명 하면서 경찰력을 보강하기 위해 제작했다는 로보캅 2를 선보인다. 사장은 마약 누크병을 들어 보이며 로보캅 2가 마약을 근절할 것이라고 선언한다. 이때 먀약 중독자 캐인의 뇌로 만들어진 로보캅 2는 그 마약을 보자마자 발작을 일으켜 수십명이 사망하는 불상사가 일어난다. 결국 이 소란은 로보캅 머피가 로보캅 2를 제압함으로써 끝이 난다.

Teeny bopper rock star Bart Holton is pushed around by his manager for maximum profit and longs for a normal life. Through a look-alike contest he meets Matt, a student who looks exactly like him and can imitate his dancing style perfectly. Bart proposes to switch roles for a week. At first Matt enjoys being chased by hysterical groupies and Bart enjoys hitting on the highschool girls, but of course both learn quickly that the other's life is quite different from what they'd expected.

Katherine Gilvey is a comely councilwoman, whose campaign for Attorney General is being managed by her ambitious, but cold-hearted husband Benjamin, which takes a turn when photographs surface of her liasion with a male prostitute, who used to be a law client of hers, and has now turned up dead. Also is a note telling her to withdraw from the campaign or the photos will be made public. Investigating on her own, Katherine's suspects to the idenity of the blackmailer are: a shadowy power broker, a charismatic minister, an activist priest, or even her own husband.

Shirley Muldowney is determined to be a top-fuel drag racer, although no woman has ever raced them before. Despite the high risks of this kind of racing and the burden it places on her family life, she perseveres in her dream.

두 아이와 부부가 살고 있는 평범한 한 가정에서 이상한 일이 발생한다. 갑자기 집에 있는 가구와 물건들이 저절로 움직이는 초자연 현상이 일어난 것이다. 가족들은 이런 현상이 TV와 교신하는 막내딸과 관계가 있음을 알아내고는 공포에 휩싸인다. 그러던 어느날 집앞의 나무가 움직이고 천둥이 치면서 집기류가 난동을 부리는 와중에 막내딸이 실종된다. 가족들은 초심리학자를 초대하여 막내딸을 찾지만 텔레비젼에서 도와달라는 소리만 들릴뿐 초심리학자도 원인을 찾아내지 못한다. 단지 그 집터가 원래 공동묘지엿다는 사실만 밝혀진다.
