1975년에 이탈리아, 스페인, 서독 합작으로 ‘믹키 리온’ 감독이 만든 호러 영화. 1973년에 ‘마리오 바바’ 감독이 만든 ‘리사와 악마’를 마리오 바바 감독이 하차하고 제작자 ‘알프레도 레오네’가 추가 편집해 만든 일종의 확장판이라서 감독 이름을 믹키 리온이란 가명으로 올린 것이다. 내용은 오리지날판에서 리사 라이너가 광장으로 돌아왔다가 갑자기 발작을 일으켰는데 지나가다가 그걸 우연히 본 ‘마이클’ 신부가 보호자 역을 자처해서 병원에 이송시켰는데. 리사에게 ‘엘레나’의 악령에 씌여 빙의 증상을 보이자 마이클 신부가 엑소시즘을 시도하고, 그 과정에서 리사에 씌인 엘레나 악령의 입을 통해 스페인 귀족 가문의 저택에서 벌어진 악마의 무한루프가 밝혀지는 이야기다. 이 작품은 리사와 악마(1973) 오리지날판이 영화 배급사의 관심을 받지 못해 극장 개봉하는데 어려움에 처하자, 엑소시스트(1973)가 대히트친 걸 보고 2년 후인 1975년에 엑소시즘 내용을 추가해서 편집한 확장판이다.

Baron Ivan Rassimov, a brilliant doctor, died horribly during a fire burst in his laboratory.
