The two funny and furry little creatures Kiwi and Strit live in the forest. Kiwi is careful and yellow, while Strit is wild and purple, and they have very different approaches to everything. But they are both very playful and curious. Two great characters who see snow for the first time make the best of winter. They ski, sled, play snowball fight, and do it all in their unique way.

Kiwi and Strit live in a clearing in the forest, at the foot of the big hill. The forest goes on as far as anyone knows, and is full of great places, like the really, really big tree, the lake with the ugly fish, the tallest mountain with all those caves, the wet waterfall river and many more great places where Kiwi and Strit explore in search of adventures.

Jonathan, 11, usually spends his vacations alone with his grandfather who lives on the edge of a vast forest populated by mythical animals. This year his kid sister Sophie joins him. But it's not cool to be stuck with a little sister, so he does what he can to avoid her. He succeeds entirely too well: Sophie is kidnapped by a giant, 1000-year-old bear. Now, Jonathan has to venture into the heart of the forest to confront the strange beings that dwell there and rescue his sister.
