A couple of sculptors who caused a traffic accident and changed their lives are led to a crime. The lives of the up-and-coming sculptor Sugio Nishikawa and Maiko have changed completely since the traffic accident. Sugio was forced to live in a wheelchair, and the quality of his work deteriorated. One day, Sugio insured Maiko for 50 million life insurance and forced her to cooperate with insurance fraud.

In this crime thriller produced by Toshiro Mifune (who has a supporting role), hard-boiled Shiro Akitsu goes on a relentless search for his abducted 7-year old daughter, with the aid of an Ainu dog summoned by a whistle she gave him.

Love story of a working-class boy and girl.

College student Yuuichi Tanuma is fired up for Nationals where his university Kyonan will face off against their rivals, Seihoku. Yuuichi has his sights set on winning football gold, but his father, who wants him to take over his sukiyaki restaurant, isn't too keen on this. Set in Kyoto, Hong Kong, and Macau, we follow Yuuichi as he falls in love and chases after his dreams.
