Tan Tjeng Bok was a veteran Indonesian actor from the 1940s to the 1970s.
Sinta's father is dying. On his insistence, Sinta has to marry Roni, though she actually prefers Ricky. Initially, Sinta is grateful to have a husband who is willing to sacrifice for her father's hospital treatment. But Roni turns out to be a pimp, and Sinta is used and sold as a call girl aka “gadis telepon”. The situation becomes intolerable, when Roni's secret is revealed, that he has compromised other girls like Sinta. Sinta stabs her husband. Sinta repents her action in prison.
Parodying the TV police character Kojak, Leman, identifies himself with Kojak by his hat and lollipop, firmly stuck in his cheeks. He tries to help a woman by picking up a package that falls from her bag, and the package is filled with flour that he thinks is morphine. The woman turns out to be a flirtatious widow who wants to become a photo model. All the stories in the film are spoofs, and the suspected bandits reveal themselves as filmmakers.
Karno and Dina, grow up in a large fisherman village, and have carried on an affair till she is pregnant. Embarrassed, they leave for the city. Karno works as a truck driver and Dina becomes a tailor.
Susan is often disturbed by a horrifying female ghost, which has weakened her body. Her parents and lover, Charles, who are skeptical at first, eventually look for a shaman who can heal her. Initially the shaman’s spell works but then the ghost switches her target to the sister of Charles, Yuni, and results in her hanging herself. At this moment, Charles is reminded of his ex-girlfriend, Delia, who died by hanging herself out of her desperation because Charles got her pregnant and refused to take responsibility. Later, Delia possesses Susan and scary things start to happen. Veins and faces are slashed, windows and glasses are broken and shattered to pieces. Charles then calls his Koran-reading teacher and he battles the ghost with the sacred passages from the Koran.
Darman, his daughter Ida, and Slamet the servant, go into the woods to hunt. Ida was lost when Darman and Slamet are chasing a tiger. Ida ends up in Tarsan's hut. They become close though at first, Tarsan has problems speaking the Indonesian language. Then he agrees to go to the city and learn how to be an urbanite. It is not easy as he is even harassed by Ida’s friends who do not like him.
Beni, who has been dating Ida for a long time, is now interested in Ratmi, who becomes a queen of a competition by bribing the judges. The director of the biscuits factory where Ratmi works, uses her image as an advertisement for the biscuits. When Ratmi’s pet goat disturbs her neighbour, Ida’s widowed sister, Beni sells the goat and he uses sale’s commission to date Ida. Other comedic incidents are strung together in this generic comedy.
Due to unemployment and a financial crisis, Benyamin works as a handyman to restore an old dilapidated house that is going to be occupied by someone returning from abroad. But the house is filled with ghosts and the ghosts are waiting for the Drakula prince, whose son is going to be married with a daughter of one of the ghosts.

At the Jakarta Fair, there is a rumour that a major tycoon from Makassar will come looking for new machines and a business partner. There is a flurry of excitement as everyone tries to get the tycoon’s employees to drop by their stands. Mansur, one of business owners in the fair, asks his secretary, Sinta, to find Andi Rachmat Syah, the tycoon. Sinta then approaches Andi, a handsome man employed by the tycoon, to find out about his boss. The man promises to tell Sinta on one condition, that she has to take him around the fair. Samiaji, Mansur’s business competitor, who has a crush on Sinta, is jealous when he finds out about it. Till the end of the story, nobody knows that Andi takes Sinta home after nights of going around the Jakarta Fair.
In order to expiate, a young man comes to the loneliness of a poor village. The re he is killed after many troubles, just at the moment when the man to whom he felt guilty, is ready to forgive.

Badjoeri/ Soebardja
After a pirate attack, a family is separated. Soebardja is with his father while Mariani stays with the mother. Due to their long separation and different foster parents, Mariani and Soebardja almost get married to each other. But Ismail, their cousin, is the one who prevents the mistake from happening.
