학교에서 왕따인 릭은 어느날 유전자 조작을 한 잠자리에 물리게 되면서 엄청난 ‘슈퍼울트라 파워’를 지니게 된다. 손에 돋아난 돌기를 이용해 벽 짚고 브레이크 댄스를 추는가 하면, 트럭에 부딪혀도 트럭을 부셔버리는 초강력 맷집, 날아가는 총알도 잡아버리는 매트릭스 뺨치는 순발력 등 엄청난 힘을 갖게 되지만, 이런 슈퍼히어로에게도 단 하나의 약점이 있었으니, 바로 날지 못한다는 것! 주체할 수 없는 이 슈퍼울트라파워를 정의사회 구현에 쓰기로 한 릭은 직접 핸드메이드 한 쫄쫄이 스판덱스 의상을 갖춰 입고 스파이더맨과 조금(?) 비슷한 ‘슈퍼잠자리맨’ 이 되어, 늘 ‘택시를 타고’ 위험에 빠진 시민들을 구하러 다닌다. 히어로무비엔 늘 그렇듯 우리의 ‘슈퍼잠자리맨’에게도 영원한 숙적 ‘아워글래스’가 나타나 기상천외한 한판승부를 펼치게 되는데…

Armed with a camcorder, a circle of friends parties at an abandoned insane asylum where, five years earlier, they caused a young patient's death.
