로스 레에스 (“왕”)는 칠레의 수도 산티아고에서 가장 오래된 스케이트 공원이다. 이 이야기는 이 곳의 진정한 왕에 관한 이야기이다. 질주하는 스케이트보드와 시끄러운 십대들이 가득한 이 개방된 공간에 풋볼과 촐라, 길 잃은 두 마리의 개들이 자리잡았다. 에너지가 넘치는 촐라는 주변에 굴러다니는 공을 가지고 놀기를 좋아한다. 스케이터들이 그들의 묘기를 보여주는 공간에 공을 놓고 그들이 떨어지기 직전에 다시 잡으려고 한다. 좀 더 나이가 많은 풋볼은 촐라가 공을 떨어뜨릴 때까지 참을성 없이 바라보며 짖는다. 풋볼과 촐라 주위에 있는 십대들은 매우 다른, 때론 문제가 있는 환경에서 왔다. 그들은 그들 각자의 이야기를 우리에게 보이스오버로 전한다.

The Surire Salt Flat is located at an altitude of 4300 m in the Chilean High Plateau and is one of the most remote places in the world, keeping the treasure of untouched nature with all its beauty but also holding an allurement: a huge amount of borax, promising the mining industry profits at unknown levels. Surire, metaphorically tells us in an outstanding visual way the story of our planet - about the very important subjects of the disappearance of traditional indigenous culture, untouched nature, the environment, and the clash of new and old.

This is a film about the September 11, 1973 military coup in Chile, from the point of view of Chileans who were born and grew up after this traumatic event. Based on improvisations and collective creation work, groups of pre-schoolers, adolescents, and university students from different social, cultural, and political origins, recreate history through mise-en-scenes that come from their own imaginations. The film articulates this creative vortex in a multiple-narrative flowing cinematic mosaic that gives an account of contemporary Chile by reliving its past.
