중학교 교사인 자니(크리스토퍼 워큰)와 사라(브룩 애덤스)는 별 문제없는 연인 사이. 그런데 데이트를 즐기고 돌아가던 도중에 자니가 불의의 교통사고를 당한다. 치명적인 코마 상태(임사 체험)에 빠진 자니는 이후 5년 간이나 식물인간 신세가 된다. 어느날 소생한 그는 자신에게 초능력이 생겼음을 깨닫는다. 교통사고의 충격은 잠재되어 있던 그의 잠재된 초감각 E.S.P.를 자극하고, 그는 미래를 투시하는 초인적인 능력이 생긴 것. 그때부터 타인의 손을 잡기만 하면, 그 사람의 과거나 또는 미래의 일들을 생생하게 떠올릴 수 있게 된다. 그래서 범죄를 미리 예방하고, 미궁에 빠진 사건을 해결하며 선행을 쌓는다. 하지만 지난 5년간 식물인간으로 지내는 동안, 사랑하던 사라는 그의 곁을 떠난 후다. 그녀는 대통령 후보(마틴 쉰)의 선거운동원이 되었고, 어느날 자니와 우연히 재회한다. 그런데 그녀가 존경하는 대통령 후보의 미래를 투시하자, 자니의 눈에 그가 히틀러보다 더한 전쟁광이 되어 인류의 파멸이 다가오는 것이 비쳐진다. 그때부터 그는 그 후보를 암살하기 위해 계획을 꾸민다.
폭력배의 집단 서식지로 황폐화된 링컨 고등학교 선생들은 책과 함께 총을 휴대해야하고 학생들은 입실하기 전에 소지품 검사를 받는다.
건물 곳곳에 감시용 카메라가 돌아가지만 마약거래와 폭력행위는 근절 되지않는다.
새로 부임해온 음악 선생 앤디(Andrew Norris: 페리 킹 분)가 조직 폭력배와 과감히 맞서지만 오히려 그들의 타겟이 되고 만다.
동료교사인 테리(Terry Corrigan: 로디 맥도월 분)가 폭력 학생들에게 몰려 광란의 질주를 하다 죽고 앤디를 따르던 학생 마이클이 구내 식당에서 칼에 찔린채 병원에 실려간다.
급기야 앤디의 부인이 학생들에게 폭행을 당하는데…
Lance Henriksen is a successful restauranteur who is having a hot n' heavy affair with the wife (Susan Tyrell) of a Presidential Adviser. During one rendezvous they overhear the husband and an Admiral discussing "the killing of the patient", and as the adulterous couple have been under surveillance this information reaches a top Federal Agent (Patrick O'Neal) who provides security for the President. His investigation begins to cast light on a conspiracy within government to assassinate the President - and now he must expose the conspiracy and stop it cold.
An unnamed man, simply called "The Man" is trapped in a cubical white room where anyone else can enter and leave, but which he himself apparently cannot leave. A stool is brought in covered in strawberry jam, the furniture changes throughout the play. The main character, is subjected to an increasingly puzzling and frustrating series of encounters, as a variety of people come through various hidden doors. But, as many remind him, he can only leave through his own door, so he must find it to leave. Originally airing on NBC's weekly anthology television show NBC Experiment in Television in 1969, the production was produced and directed by puppeteer and filmmaker Jim Henson, and was one of several experiments with the live-action film medium which he conducted in the 1960s, before focusing entirely on The Muppets and other puppet works.
18 year-old Peter lives with his parents in a middle-class Toronto suburb and rebels constantly against their imposed middle-class goals and conventions and the materialist values they represent. He constantly mocks and belittles his family with his only real ally being his girlfriend Julie. Peter's relationship with his parents reaches its boiling point when he borrows his father's new car without permission and is left by him to spend the night in jail after Peter is arrested for reckless driving. Peter runs away from home and moves into a rooming house, and eventually gets a shady job as a parking attendant. His relationship with Julie becomes exponentially more complicated and he finally realizes that being alone in the real world is much harder than he ever imagined.
