Follows the life of an Office Lady who gets through her tedious work days by dreaming of a legendary soup and soup chef she's heard of. She decides to go in search of it.
Hayato, a boy in the 6th grade, hides the secret that he can't swim. Every summer, he pretends to be sick, so he could avoid school swimming tournaments. But, as it is the last year in the elementary school, he can't escape from swimming practice and is forced to participate.
고등학교에 다니는 소극적인 성격의 ‘나나’는 동생 ‘노리코’와 지하철역에서 우연히 ‘노리코’의 친구 ‘타카시’를 만난다. ‘타카시’는 지하철 역 플랫폼에 떨어져있는 패스를 줍고 검은 옷을 입은 낯선 여자로부터 “이 패스를 주운 자는 죽는다…” 라는 무시무시한 말을 듣게 된다. ‘나나’와 ‘노리코’는 미친 소리일거라며 무시해버리지만 그 날 이후 ‘타카시’는 행적을 감춘다. 그리고 며칠 뒤 ‘나나’의 동생 ‘노리코’도 똑같은 빨간 패스를 주워온다.
한편 ‘나나’와 같은 학교에 다니는 ‘카나에’는 남자친구인 ‘시게루’로부터 지하철에서 주운 팔찌를 선물 받는다. 며칠 뒤, ‘시게루’는 열차에 치어 죽는 끔찍한 사고를 당하고, 팔찌를 낀 ‘카나에’ 역시 죽음의 그림자가 엄습해옴을 느끼는데..

We follow Ichi during his high school years. Mr. Dai is the best fighter in school... whenever he fights Ichi is there and has a huge smile on his face. Mr. Dai thinks that Ichi is laughing at him but in fact he enjoys watching the violence that goes through the fights. Everyone is bullying, taunting and making fun of Ichi... even little kids from his karate class. Yet Ichi refuses to let go of his anger and fight others. Just when Mr. Dai is about to get Ichi, a new transfer student starts to make his own laws... by beating up everyone and breaking their bones! In a fight with the new student, Mr. Dai ends up on the ground, beaten and broken up from almost everywhere. It seems like this new guy wants to fight Ichi because supposedly he is the only one that could give him some challenge.
"Pika*nchi Life Is Hard Dakedo Happy" centers around five friends who are residents in a Tokyo apartment complex. Now senior high school students, the five friends live the wild life in Harajuku before encountering unforeseen surprises.
