는 트로마 스튜디오가 매니아층을 확보하게 만든 첫 번째 작품으로 이후 이 시리즈는 4편까지 제작되며 인기를 모았고, 화학약품으로 일그러진 녹색 피부와 타버린 발레복 차림의 ‘톡시’는 B급 영화의 수퍼히어로로 군림하게 되었다. 한계를 가볍게 뛰어넘는 폭력과 고어, 환경문제와 같은 사회 이슈에 대한 풍자, 그리고 의도된 조악함에서 나오는 코미디 등 ‘트로마 스타일’의 모든 것을 확인할 수 있는 영화.
