1990년 칠레의 여름. 소규모 가족들이 안데스산맥 바로 아래에서 도시로부터 떨어져 공동체를 이루며 살아간다. 소피아, 루카스 그리고 클라라는 신년 전야 파티를 준비하면서 자신들의 부모님, 첫사랑 그리고 여러 두려움과 맞선다.

La Patagonia, southern Argentina. After his mother's death, Nahuel, a violent teenager, meets his biological father, Ernesto, a skillful hunting guide; but their reunion is harsh, since their souls are only ruled by pride and resentment.

18살의 헤수스는 엄격하고 다소 애정이 없는 아버지와 칠레 산티아고에서 살고 있다. 헤수스와 그의 친구들은 마약을 하거나, 가벼운 섹스를 하거나, TV를 보면서 무의미하게 시간을 보낼 때도 있지만 케이팝 보이 밴드 공연도 한다. 하지만 그의 일상은 어느 날 저녁 술에 취한 친구들과 젊은 게이를 잔인하게 폭행하고 죽게 내버려 두면서 혼란에 빠진다. 헤수스는 심각한 위기에 빠진다.

In his new feature film Jon Bang Carlsen inserts the viewer into the affluent suburbs of Los Angeles, a world where families put on a brave face to mask the tension and turmoil at home. The kids are rebelling and the parents doesn’t know how to deal with them. With their parents consent, the children are abducted and bundled into a van which takes them to a reform school in the middle of the desert, in Utah. Blending fact with fiction, Carlsen shows us how parents sometimes achieve control by surrendering it and how fabrications can help us understand real life.

우연히 친구들을 따라간 은밀한 장소. 아이리스는 사회 고위층의 간부들에게 하룻밤을 제공하기만 하면 그 대가로 화려한 사치를 누릴 수 있다는 사실을 깨닫는다. 가족에게, 친구들에게, 세상에게 모두 외면 받는 그녀지만 이곳에서는 아름다운 얼굴과 몸매만으로도 누구보다 사랑 받고 찬사 받는다. 그 값비싼 명품과 뜨거운 욕망 모든 것에 중독되어가는 그녀. 그러나 어느 새 자신도 모르게 점점 더 위험 속에 빠져들기 시작한다.

Ananda has returned home from abroad. Unsure of his career plans, he accepts an invitation to act in a new movie for a famous director. During the filming in a small seaside town, Zoe, his American girlfriend from University, arrives for a week-long visit. But the change of country takes its toll and she soon becomes frustrated with the situation. Meanwhile, Ananda meets another girl on the beach.

17 years old Lina goes to the Arvika Festival with her boyfriend Calle despite that her mother forbade her. At the festival she meets the singer Marc and they start to like each other but things are getting difficult.

World War II is around the corner, but the only thing Sally Bauer can think of is the ocean. Her dream is to swim across the English Channel.
