"The Scam" - A truck driver and his job colleagues figures out how to make the smart move, on their many trips to Finland: Tinkering with cargo pallets that can be sold illegal.

This farce cocerns Sweden's King Gustav (Per Oscarsson who plays all the lead roles). The royal monarchs of three major European countries are patiently or not-so-patiently hovering on the sidelines while watching the future King Gustav closely. No single king appears to possess the brains he was born with, so history seems to be made by default, as it were. Gustav does blunder around, but not enough to miss being crowned king. As a result, France, England, and Germany invade Sweden hoping to take by force what they could not gain by incompetence.

"Fear" - An everyday thriller in four parts. The action takes place in an idyllic residential neighborhood where the good neighbors do not always turn out to be so good. The peaceful life is interrupted by a brutal and inexplicable murder.

Jack spends his days smoking pot, drinking and hitting on girls together with his friends. As opposed to his friends, Jack actually knows what he wants to do with his life, he wants be an author. After a long summer together with his friends Jack finally has an idea for his first book...

Nine people - three couples, one unmarried mother and two children - try to change and improve their lives by forming big families. Eva feels oppressed by her conventional parents. Vera and Lasse live with their daughter in a depressing suburb environment. Lena lives alone with her three-year-old son Pelle. Sven and Bibi live together in a small one-room apartment where they constantly quarrel. Sven sees the big family most as an opportunity for sexual experiments. A young French medical student, Paul, meets Bibi through common acquaintances and moves into the collective. The reason is simply that he has been attracted to Bibi. Meanwhile, Sven is increasingly interested in Lena.

"The Marriage" - Eva and Kent are planning to get married. Their bridal stag parties causes some problems. The wedding reception will serve moonshine since the regular booze is capsized at sea.

In Stockholm, Sweden, it is a lack of housing. A young homeless couple find their own solution to the problem. They sleep in the bed department of a mall.

After a few years in prison Stickan comes out and trying to readjust to society. He is approached by his old prison buddy Janne who is full of ideas how to get over the money without having to work.

A newly graduated doctor finds trauma too heavy in everyday work of the hospital. He is constantly facing new demands which ultimately threatens to overpower him. He is about to give up his career.idoren

Two impressionable teenage girls fall in with a beatnik crowd that is content to avoid work and have fun. The group lives for today while committing petty crimes and revels in being outside social convention until their adventures take a murderous turn. A young divorcee with a baby feels that life has passed her by as her friends enjoy a carefree time. Another couple with a young child is headed for divorce when their idyllic bubble is burst and they are overwhelmed by reality.

주인공의 직업전반을 따라가며 노동의 과정을 열심히도 보여주는데 이 부분이 영화의 절반은 차지하는 것 같다. 특별한 의도나 효과를 노리고 있는 건 아니라서 다 들어내도 영화의 인상에 영향을 미치지는 않을 것 같아 보임. 우직하고 순박한 얀 트로엘의 리얼리즘.

A study in forgiveness as oppression and goodness as provocation. Six youth criminals are chosen to participate in a social experiment where they are assigned to live together in a rundown apartment in the heart of Stockholm, Sweden. The six boys are being supervised by two forgiving and uneasy social workers. Their need to continue to commit petty crimes escalates out of boredom with the situation. One night they run into a young girl in trouble.
