The story of beautiful Christian nun, Kyoko who is the object of affection for two very different men - one the happy-go-lucky yakuza gangster, Haruhiko who is the next-in-line to takeover the ragtag "Tenryu Gumi" gang and the other bumbling police detective Kumashiro. The Tenryu Gumi is a collection of misfits and other troublemakers but are relatively peaceful due to their Christian beliefs. Their bitter rivals are the more traditional "Kuroiwa Gumi", a much more sadistic and violent group led by godfather Kuroiwa.

Kabamaru is a young boy raised and trained by his grandfather as a ninja. After the sudden death of his grandfather, he starts living with Mai, his grandfather’s mistress, who is a school director. He is asked to help out on struggles against other schools, as he is master of the ninja mystical arts. As time passes he will make lots of friends as well as enemies, and fall in love with Mai.

전국시대, 하극상의 기운을 타고 마츠나가 돈조는 주군 미요시 씨의 미희를 자기 것으로 만들려고, 다섯 사람의 요술승에게 명하여 미약(媚藥)을 만들게 하여, 미녀사냥을 명하였다. 그 음모를 꾸민 것은 요술승의 뒤를 봐주는 정체불명의 과심거사였다. 미녀사냥의 표적은 이가닌자 후에후키 죠타로의 연인 유키오였다. 전국 혼란의 시대를 무대로 미약(媚藥)을 쫓아, 이가닌자(伊賀忍者) 후에후키 죠타로와 전설적인 요술사 과심거사의 싸움을 그렸다.
