A woman named Saki is discovered covered in blood and sat next to the body of an actor in the elevator hall of a condominium. She smokes a cigarette and seems stunned. The film takes audiences back two years in the past, a time when Saki, a staff member on a film, met the actor, Sho, on set and fell in love. He used her badly and had another woman on the side and so Saki reveals how strong her love is and the event occurs that night we first meet her. A short film directed by Shinzo Katayama, whose debut feature film Siblings of the Cape attracted and was screened in different countries. He also has a credit as an AD on Bong Joon-Ho’s mystery-thriller film Mother and Nobuhiro Yamatshita’s The Drudgery Train. The script is by Yukiko Sode who is responsible for Good Stripes and Aristocrats.

제 501통합전투항공단이 본격적으로 해산되어, 마력을 상실한 요시카는 후소황국에서 의학교 입학을 목표로 공부에 열중하고 있었다. 로마냐 해방 후인 1945년, 후소황국의 위치인 핫토리 시즈카 중사가 나타나 유럽의 의사학교로부터의 초대장을 건네며, 요시카가 유학을 갈 때에는 자신이 유럽까지 호위로서 따라가도록 지시받았다고 이야기한다. 최첨단 의학을 배울 수 있다며 의욕을 불태우는 요시카는 유학을 결심하고 시즈카와 함께 유럽으로 향한다. 한편, 갈리아가 해방되어 베네치아 공국의 레가타 스토리카의 재개가 예정되는 등, 소강상태에 접어든 유럽이었지만, 국경에서 확인되지 않은 수상한 네우로이가 나타나고 있었다.

청나라 최대 규모의 금융 기관 ‘천원성’을 운영하는 강씨네 가문에 큰 파동이 일어난다. 강사장의 아들 중 하나가 부인과 여행을 떠난 것이 계기가 되어, 가문은 몰락의 위기에 처한다. 이후 강사장은 셋째 아들(곽부성)에게 가업을 이어줄 것을 기대하지만 아버지와는 다른 신념을 가진 그에게 가업을 잇는 것이 쉬운 일은 아니다. 게다가 과거에 관계를 맺었던 사랑하는 여인까지 아버지에게 빼앗기고 눈 앞의 그녀를 계모로 받아들여야 하는 상황조차 그를 미치게 한다. 각종 음모와 배신이 넘쳐나는 상황 속에서 그는 백은제국을 지켜낼 수 있을 것인가!

Working long hours in the emergency room, nurse Kana Aoshima befriends musician and frequent hospital patient Shogo Amami. Shogo's therapy visits for his muteness and blindness happen to frequently coincide with Kana's shift, which enables the nurse to get to know the handsome artist well enough to start falling in love with him. Fate intercedes, however, when Shogo is killed after being hit by a car - a development that utterly crushes Kana's will to live. Shogo's spirit is transported to heaven, where it is given the chance to return to Earth to assist Kana through her grieving and to renew her sense of faith in the world - with the only caveat being he cannot reveal his identity to Kana.
