Álvaro, before escaping from himself during ten years, return to his town, a small village in Galicia, to attend to his father's funeral. Jorge Coira's debut feature, shot over nine days in Santiago de Compostela has enough tasty portions to please audiences. Amongst Coira's expansive ensemble are aging street musician Edu, a pair awaking from a one-night stand, a businessman visiting his closeted homosexual brother and a lonely housewife, Sol. Victor and Sol are two of 18 MEALS' most fascinating characters as they each hide something - his sexuality, her depression - from those around them. Best of all is Pedro Alsono as Vladimir, a local celebrity actor who makes a meal for a mystery woman who never arrives. Who hasn't gone to a lot of trouble to do something extra special for someone just to have it go unappreciated?

교도관으로 첫 출근을 앞두고 있는 후안은 임신 중인 사랑스런 아내와 함께 살고 있다. 첫 출근 전 교도소에 들러 업무와 근무수칙 등을 선배 교도관에게 듣던 중 건물 천장 벽돌이 무너져 내려 후안을 덮치는 사고가 발생한다. 이로 인해 후안은 머리를 다쳐 기절하게 된다. 이에 당황한 선배 교도관들은 후안을 비어 있는 독방 침대에 눕히고 의료진을 부르려 하지만 갑작스레 발생한 죄수들의 폭동으로 인해 선배 교도관들은 후안만을 독방에 남겨둔 채 황급히 그 곳을 도망쳐 나오게 된다. 게다가 죄수들의 폭동은 유혈사태로 이어져 쉽게 진압할 수 없는 상황에 이르게 되고, 죄수들의 지도자를 자처하는 말라마드레를 중심으로 죄수들이 더욱 단결하게 되면서 사태는 점점 심각한 분위기로 흐른다. 이 때, 머리 부상으로 잠시 정신을 잃었던 후안이 깨어나게 되고 자신이 감옥에 갇힌 사실을 알게 되자 자신의 신분을 숨긴 채 새로 들어온 죄수처럼 행동하며 그 곳을 탈출할 방법을 모색하는데...

The story based on an idea by Antón Reixa and inspired by a real case, describes the adventures of a modest football team that, due to various ups and downs, has been sponsored by a girls club. What follows, is the imaginable scandal on the part of the traditional sector of the town, and the subsequent reaction of "living forces." The three main ingredients of this comedy are soccer, with a constant presence in our lives, prostitution and other activities condemned by established morality, and love.

The film centres on Moncho and his coming-of-age experience in Galicia in 1936. Moncho develops a close relationship with his teacher Don Gregorio who introduces the boy to different things in the world. While the story centres on Moncho's ordinary coming-of-age experiences, tensions related to the looming Spanish Civil War periodically interrupt Moncho's personal growth and daily life.

Mario Gas directed this music-themed Spanish drama set in Barcelona of the mid-'80s. When famed composer Lluis Doria (Laurent Terzieff) visits a transvestite club, he learns his lifelong friend Albert Rossell (Serge Reggiani) is the house pianist. A flashback takes the tale four decades into the past where the younger Rossell (Pere Ponce) rejoins Teresa (Paulina Galvez) after having spent years in prison for helping anti-Franco anarchists. The story continues into Paris of the '30s, the period when Doria and Rossell first met, sharing a mutual interest in music and Teresa, before civil war sent them in different directions.
