The General's son Yang escapes a massacre at his home that subsequently sees a corrupt, criminal syndicate in charge of the local forces. Guo Jing and Yang Kang are the sons of two rebels. The rebels are killed by imperial soldiers and the boys are rescued by six pugilists later. 소림사를 배신한 석소봉의 만행에 함성이 높은 대래거리에 나타난 방랑객, 그가 바로 조선 소림사의 젊은 무인 운비. 운비는 소봉의 집에 나무를 배달하는 담, 그의 형도 소봉 일행에 항거하다 죽었다는 사실을 알게 된다. 신검이라는 별명을 가진 강남낭자, 그도 소봉의 잔인한 행동에 사랑하는 여인을 잃은 풍류객이다. 한맺힌 운비, 담, 강남낭자 세 사람은 굳게 뭉친다. 드디어 거사날! 이 세 사람의 마지막 결투가 남았다.
