The documentary is a portrait of concept artist Kitty Von Sometime and her journey as she creates the Weird Girls Project. The Weird Girls - “an extraordinary art event for ordinary girls” - is a one day performance, but actresses are not allowed. From it’s conception seven years ago by Kitty Von Sometime, The Weird Girls Project has quickly become a national phenomenon in Iceland and every episode is covered by the national TV and print media. Between a pop event and feminist activism, performance art and a goliardic action, the project gives voice and space to woman to freely express themselves in a fabulous and unique carnival.

The tale of Goldilocks is sometimes viewed as a cautionary tale that imparts a lesson about the hazards of wandering off and exploring unknown territory. The point about safety and shelter. But in its essence it was a tale about an intruder who could not control herself when encountering the possessions of others.

A young man has to go to the hospital for an operation. Upon his arrival he watches paramedics roll out a deceased person from the hospital room he is about to be checked in to. Lying in bed with nothing to do his mind starts to wander. He strikes up a conversation about life with an old man who paints a rather dark picture of what can happen during one’s stay in a hospital. The old man shares his ironic philosophy on life, causing him great anxiety. Will he make it out alive?

A film about boys who bring the struggle for their lives onto the soccer field. Hope springs eternal but here hope is a struggle with oneself and with despair. The boys tell their story from within, the story of how the light pushes the darkness out of the way, without self-pity or evasion. They have exhausted every venue. Therefore the true facts stand naked. Marvelous people. Fascinating characters.
