샘은 별 볼 일 없는 좀비 영화 감독이다. 자신의 영화를 수없이 영화제에 출품하지만 번번이 퇴짜를 맞다가, 자신도 모르게 영화제에 통과했다고 거짓말을 하고 마을의 웃음거리가 된다. 한편 마을에 있는 공장에서 만든 빵을 먹은 사람들은 하나둘씩 좀비로 변하고, 곧 텍사스의 작은 마을인 코시캐나는 좀비로 뒤덮인다. 친구들과 함께 좀비에 쫓기던 샘은 이 기회를 이용해 실감 나는 좀비 영화를 찍으려는 계획을 세우고 사람들을 모으는데...

However, a series of disturbing dreams begin to haunt Karen. Eventually she starts to become unhinged and her paranoia overtakes every aspect of her life.
