189 is a phone number to call when a child needs to be saved from an abusive situation. Children and adults can call that number, where they will be connected with the nearest child consultation center. Taiga Sakamoto works as a rookie child welfare officer. A girl that he worked with is being sent back to her mother. The girl was abused by her mother and stayed at a shelter. The next day, she loses her life. Taiga thinks about quitting his job. At this time, he receives a phone call from the hospital. A doctor calls him and tells him that a six-year-old girl's wounds looks as if they were caused by physical abuse. The abuser is assumed to be her father, but the girl's father denies any wrongdoing. Taiga and Attorney Shion Akiba try to prove that the girl was abused by her father.

In Edo-era Japan, a ukiyo-e artist languishes in his master’s shadow. Creatively stifled, he finds consolation in the company of a prostitute, and becomes entangled in a love triangle. A mystery emerges involving two portraits and the sudden disappearance of the artist Sharaku. Helmed by Cannes-selected director Tatsuji Yamazaki, the film employs kabuki-inspired sequences and stylised sets.

The GhostHustlers are three beautiful female students Kyoko, Mayu and Emi who fight evil spirits at Onin High School. The GhostHustlers are called into action when their school is invaded by "Erotomaniac Spirits" that have turned the female students into an uncontrollable libidinous frenzy. While this proves to be quite popular with the male students the school is also being overrun by slimy paranormal creatures. Faced with supernatural foes and the increasing moral turpitude of their students these three heroines do whatever is needed to save their school.
