A rampage at a university, the students Yuka and Mai are frozen with fear. At gunpoint, the two perpetrators try to force them to decide which of them must die next. In a moment of distraction, Mai tries to escape but is badly injured by a shot in the back. After the killers have moved on, a student, Hayashi Yuka, comes to the rescue. But even as they try to save Mai together, the killers return. Hayashi is driven to an act of desperation that leaves him with deep wounds.
Memories can be blocked, but they can also be invented. Psychology professor Eiko works with people who were traumatized by the 2011 earthquake and tsunami disaster. But the topic affects her more personally than she wants to admit. Narrative structures begin to intertwine, reality becomes ambiguous. Like a surgeon, SHINOZAKI dissects the human mind in this complex yet moving film.

The story is about Mayumi and a jobless youngster who enters her life. Mayumi is a rape victim, and is often haunted by the painful memories of her past. Mayumi chances upon this youngster, strikes a chord with him, and slowly shares her troubles and past memories.

예쁜 고등학생 히토미는 좀비를 좋아한다. 그녀는 잘생긴 사람에게 전혀 흥미를 가지지 못하고 좀비에게만 빠져 있다. 히토미는 좀비가 나오는 영화를 좋아하며 좀비 관련한 모든 물품을 수집하는 좀비광이다. 좀비 남자친구를 사귀고 싶어하는 히토미는 학교에서 ‘좀비’라고 놀림당하는 쇼타를 만나게되고, 그를 유혹해 죽게 만든 뒤 좀비가루를 뿌려 좀비로 만든다. 부모님이 외국에 계시는 히토미는 좀비가 된 쇼타를 집으로 데려와 은신시켜준다. 일반인처럼 생활하는 좀비 쇼타는 좀비를 좋아하는 사람들에게 유명세를 타면서 CF도 찍게되고 바쁜 생활을 지속하게 된다. 이에 히토미는 권태로움을 느끼게 되고, 그 사실을 알게 된 쇼타는 스스로 산으로 올라가게 되고 히토미의 새로운 남자 친구인 제이슨과 일전을 펼친다.

Hikari's boyfriend is one of those killed in the Akihabara massacre incident. Suffering from the shock of her loss and unable to accept this reality, she cuts herself off from the outside world. She eventually manages to muster enough courage to visit Akihabara, the scene of the incident. There, she encounters many people who are still coming to terms with the aftermath of the incident and are still suffering from the aftereffects.
College student Yu (Kobayashi Yuto) becomes friends with Fumie (Suzuki Sawa), a married woman who often comes to his store, but their relationship soon develops into something more. With very little romantic experience, he finds himself absorbed in this adult woman.
Ryo Kawai
Yuto Kobayashi stars as a down-on-his-luck 16-year-old named Ryo Kawai. Ryo grew up fatherless, and has been trying to make a living by working at a local convenience store ever since his mother was hospitalized with a prolonged illness. Unable to support himself on his meager earnings, he has to resort to sneaking money from the cash register and stealing rice balls to get by-a habit which eventually gets him fired. Just when it seems things can't get any worse, his mother dies and he's stuck with a hefty bill for the hospital and funeral expenses. Obviously unable to pay, but determined to send his mother off himself, Ryo steals her corpse and places it in a small rowboat. After the makeshift funeral ceremony, Ryo heads off to Tokyo on a journey to meet his absentee father.
일본을 떠나 해외에서 떠돌고 있는 남자와 프랑스로 떠난 연인을 쫓아 온 여자가 리옹의 붉은 다리에서 우연히 만난다. 그들은 서로에 대해 알아가면서 동질감을 느끼게 된다. 병든 노모를 두고 떠나 왔던 남자와 연인을 쫓아 가족에게 알리지도 않고 리옹으로 떠나 온 여자. 그들은 동질감을 느끼면서 서서히 사랑에 빠지게 된다. 하지만 단 10시간 동안의 만남을 통해 그들이 느꼈던 사랑의 감정이 과연 진실한 것이었을까? 외로움에 지쳐 혹은 연민의 정은 아니었을까? 두 사람은 서로의 감정에 대해 확신하지 못한다. 이별을 위한 결단은 남자의 몫이었다. 하지만 그것이 이후 그에게는 커다란 짐으로 남았을 터이다. 그래서 3년 뒤 리옹의 붉은 다리를 다시 찾은 그의 손에 쥐어진 그녀의 목걸이와 꽃다발은 그 의미가 각별하다.
