멍청한 세명의 강도가 보석상을 털려고 한다. 경보기에 당황한 그들은 경찰에 쫓겨 아무 건물 속으로 들어가고, 이내 경찰의 지원부대가 출동하여 건물을 포위하고 그들은 건물속에 갇히게 된다. 경찰이 건물속에서 수배중인 폭력배 대호를 격투끝에 체포, 호송차량에 태우려고 할때 3명의 강도는 경찰을 습격하여 대호를 구출해 낸다. 중안조(강력계)의 청킹켄(사이몬 야우)이 사건의 지휘를 맡는다. 중안조 대원들의 치열한 총격전에서 살아남기 위해 자신의 기술과 용기를 총동원하나, 난사되는 총탄에 중안조의 일원인 지미는 중상을 입는다. 수사끝에 폭력배들은 경마수익금을 털 것이라는 것이 밝혀지고, 중안조는 힘을 합쳐 폭력배 소탕 작전에 들어간다. 이섬삼(라우칭오나)은 작전도중 만디라는 어릴적 친구를 알아보게 되고, 동료인 종건과는 묘한 관계가 이뤄지는데.. 작전이 끝나고 승리감 때문에 긴장이 풀린 중안조. 감자기 멍청한 강도들이 차를 탄 채 번화가를 질주하고, 거리는 또다시 총격전의 소용돌이 속으로 휘말려 들어간다.

Sean Lau has been secretly in love with comely Vivian Chan since childhood, so when she needs a paper marriage to satisfy the wishes of her sick mother, he's a pushover. This doesn't sit too well with her naturalist boyfriend, who seems to like cockroaches more than her. And now the omens are against them: the day they've chosen for marriage is the very same one that Lau's strict aunt demands for his mother's funeral. So, this comedy goes back and forth between the two venues.

The sequel to Thou Shalt Not Swear. Chow reteams with Lau to investigate a murder and his wife is a suspect this time. All the murder victims seem to have cheated on their wives.
