This is a story about family and love. Xue (Huang Cuiru) and her lover Wei (Wang Kai) bought a cute puppy, Snowy. Taking care of the puppy makes their relationship stronger. Unexpectedly, Wei is transferred to Beijing because his performed well at work. Only after three years he can return to Hong Kong. But Xue has the opportunity to sing at Tokyo, and is not ready to give it up, refusing to go to Beijing with Wei. Xue and Snowy live together, depending each other and learning new life experiences.

The youngest daughter, Chen Xue (Huang Cuiru), was separated from her mother Lu Xiyun (Huang Shuyi) by the time her parents divorced when she was five; when she was 25, her boyfriend Shi Luwei (Wang Kai ornaments) sent a two. The Yuewei Bai Wei dog gave Chen Xue as a Christmas gift. In the process of raising puppies, Chen Xue’s motherhood was initiated, and her resentment towards her mother and mother slowly changed. However, when her mother Lu Xiyun replaced her daughter to take care of Xiao Baiwei, she rekindled her feelings of nurturing her daughter from time to time. The puppy nicknamed the little daughter. 제니퍼(종초홍 분)는 남자 친구인 빈센트와 함께 미국 유학길에 오르고, 먼 친척인 선장(뱃머리: 주윤발 분)의 집에 머무른다. 선장(뱃머리)은 연약한 제니퍼를 보자 보호본능이 생기고 점차 한 여인으로 보게 된다. 빈센트에게 실연당한 제니퍼는 선장(뱃머리)의 위로와 다정함으로 점차 사랑의 상처를 잊게 된다. 선장(뱃머리)이 자신을 사랑하고 있음을 느낀 제니퍼는 자신의 감정은 단순한 우정이라고 여긴다. 어느 날, 선장(뱃머리)은 자신의 생일 파티를 열고 제니퍼와 친구들을 초대한다. 빈센트는 파티장에 찾아와서 제니퍼에게 다시 연인이 되자고 간청한다. 다정한 두 사람의 모습을 보고 선장(뱃머리)은 질투심이 끓어오른다.

Guo Jing and Huang Rong return to Peach Blossom Island and are shocked to see that Guo's first martial arts teachers, the "Seven Freaks of Jiangnan", have all been murdered except for Ke Zhen'e. Modern day Hong Kong is the backdrop for this action adventure about the narcotics trade. A convicted felon named Peter Chin breaks up a bloody barroom battle and saves the life of a gang member. He is rewarded with an introduction to one of the gang's lieutenants, a beautiful woman named Daisy. Together they plot to extort millions from a rival gangland chief, but their efforts are foiled by an uneasy truce between the two leaders. Knives, flying kicks, fists, guns and bombs come into play as Peter strives to keep a gangland leader from escaping with a fortune in drugs and money.

Shih Hsin-chiao (Ling Yun) is a journalist who trained under mentor Lu Tao-jan (Chin Han). Lu's daughter, Chih-pai (Tien Niu) is infatuated with the good-looking and intelligent Shih, but Shih sees her only as a child. When he returns from a long stay abroad, he finds that things have changed. Chih-pai is now an attractive young woman in a relationship with rich boy (Wang Yu). A miscarriage and Lu's death throw Shih and Chih-pai back together again.

Lung Kong collaborated with accomplished novelist Meng Jun to pen the script for this tale of heartbreak and doomed romance. The mounting despair of two solipsistic characters headed towards an emotionally shattering break-up is depicted through an elliptical series of flashbacks.
