영화는 단순히 재밌기만 할 뿐만 아니라 공포스럽기까지 하다. 게다가 이야기의 플롯은 흔히 듣던 전래동화를 닮아있다. 매매춘을 하는 프린세스는 기나긴 밤 LA 거리를 자신을 잡아먹을지도 모를 늑대(악당)로부터 살아남아야 한다. 그리고 그를 추격하는 형사가 있다.

Each encounter plays like an old stag joke and Finster, like the silent-screen comedian he’s imitating, never utters a word.

Mountain Rivera is a veteran heavyweight and near-champion who suddenly finds himself washed up in the only trade he knows—prizefighting.
