Set Decoration
세계의 끝자락, 남쪽에 위치하고 있는 ‘욕조(The BATHTUB)' 섬은 남극의 빙하가 녹아 땅이 물에 잠기는 걸 막기 위해 쌓아놓은 제방 밖에 위치하고 있다. 이곳에 살고 있는 어린 소녀 허쉬파피(쿠벤자네 왈리스)는 아버지 그리고 마을 사람들과 함께 자연적인 삶을 추구하며 살고 있다. 문명화된 삶을 거부한 채, 자연의 소중함과 혼자서도 살아낼 수 있는 강인함 같은 무형의 가치들을 추구하며 살아가고 있는 섬사람들에겐 오래 전부터 전해져 내려오는 전설이 존재한다. 우주의 균형이 깨어지면, 선사시대 빙하기 단단한 얼음에 갇혀버린 ’오록스‘가 깨어난다는 것.
한편, 허쉬파피의 아버지 윈키(드와이트 헨리)는 희귀병에 걸려 죽음을 앞두고 있는데, 자신 없이 홀로 험난한 세상을 살아가야 할 딸이 강인하게 성장하길 바라며 매일 혹독한 교육을 반복한다. 어느 날, 병을 숨기려는 아버지와 딸의 다툼으로 우주의 균형이 깨어지고 욕조섬은 쏟아지는 폭우로 침수될 운명에 처하는데...
