A young policewoman from Hamburg is torn between rigid adherence to her professional ideals and the testosterone-fueled power lust of her head of operations. 종교 그룹의 열혈 맹신자인 토레는 우연히 만난 베노의 차를 고쳐 주면서 친해지기 시작한다. 집도 없이 떠돌던 토레는 베노가 자기 집 앞마당에 마련해준 텐트에서 지내게 된다. 토레가 베노의 가족들과도 친해질 무렵, 베노는 토레의 종교적 신념에 대해 의구심을 갖게 되고 그의 믿음을 실험 하기 위한 잔인한 게임을 시작 하는데…실화를 바탕으로 한 이 올해 칸느에서 처음 상영 했을 때 실제로 벌어진 일이라고 하기엔 너무나 충격적인 내용(특히 결말 부분) 때문에 관객들의 반응은 극명하게 엇갈렸다. 솔직히 은 보고 난 후 기분이 좋아지는 작품은 분명히 아니다. 좀 더 정확하게 말한다면 관객들을 우울하게 만드는 작품이다. 하지만 그만큼 연출, 연기, 스토리 등 모든 면에서 이작품의 완성도가 높기 때문이라고 할 수 있다. 이 작품을 싫어하던 좋아하던 관객들의 기억에 오래 남을 것은 틀림없다. 확실히 ‘현실이 허구보다 훨씬 더 기이하다’는 말이 맞는 것 같다. Again, the unemployed zookeeper Günther and the discarded salesman Wolfgang are looking for their great luck. Therefore, they get the help of a young man who, due to his autism, has extraordinary skills at the roulette table.

NORDSTRAND tells the story of two brothers, Marten and Volker, who meet in their parents' now empty house on the coast. Older brother Marten would like to pick up together their mother from prison where she has been since the death of their violent father years ago. But Volker seems only to have come in order to sell the house. He apparently can't forgive neither his mother nor his older brother for the fact they didn't protect him from the abuse committed by the head of the family.

Tania is an actress, 43. Thore is 15, a misfit in a small village at the northern tip of Germany. At the beginning of winter, Tania escapes from her numb life to the village. They meet. She decides to steal him from his parents.

Frank Lehmann, 20, still lives with his parents in the dreary high-rise housing project "Neue Vahr" in Bremen. It's the year 1980 and Frank gets drafted to the army even though his friends assure him that "he's not really the guy for it". When he gets back home, after his first week at the army, his Dad has turned his room into a TV repair shop, so Frank has to move out. Luckily his old friend Martin is starting a commune with two other Punks in Bremens leftist borough "Viertel". Frank, without further ado rents the unlivable walk-through room. From now on Frank is a traveler between the Worlds. Each week he goes from the Army, with all the unconditional rules and regulations to the commune where his friends are preaching the world revolution. Frank is trying to avoid to stick out, but fails miserably, in both worlds.

It is the summer of 1984 in Schmalenstedt, in the middle of Holstein Switzerland, directly on the Baltic Sea. The 17-year-old Malte Ahrens, who calls himself Roddy Dangerblood, lives with his elderly parents in a farmhouse, is trained as a potter and has discovered for himself the punk that has made its way into Schmalenstedt with some delay.
