Defense lawyer
This visually stunning erotic drama follows a young man who finds himself unexpectedly attracted to his handsome, outspoken male professor. Despite — or perhaps because of — his conservative upbringing, Hins is intent on getting close enough to Ming to understand him. It’s an experience that transforms his life and comes to define his adult identity.
Kent
Kent has even greater reason than his fellow detectives to capture an at-large serial killer, as his girlfriend was one of the victims. But can the cop's sanity survive long enough for him to identify his tormentor?
Ming
A portmanteau tale set in Sai Kung, consisting of three separate stories about love.
A cop, a blind psychologist, and a mysterious murderer are embroiled in a mental game copying thriller movies. As the suspects are being killed one after another, the case seems to be heading to a dead end. When the answer seems to be knocking at the door, as the murderer finally is exposed and killed, the unexpected is standing right in front of them...
The new generation is rebellious and lacking in love. A group of youngsters is hanging out together aimlessly. They spend their life in a haze of dope violence and scrapes with the law. Eventually the girl gets pregnant, the guy is locked up in jail and ends up paralyzed due to drug abuse, and the rest get hooked to their blasted lives.
Wong Man-Lok
Three loosely related stories about love, loneliness and desire, held together by one central event (a train accident) that sets these characters in motion. Andrew Lin Hoi is a mainland tour guide who’s stranded in China when the accident happens. He was supposed to pick up his visiting girlfriend Gigi Lai, but instead he gets stuck in a hotel where a Category 3 film is being filmed. There he strikes up a quick connection with the leading lady, who offers him a role in a graphic love scene with her. Meanwhile, Gigi has arrived in HK only to find herself alone with no one to turn to. Depressed and despondent, she takes comfort in the attentions of a lonely older man played by Patrick Tse Yin. The third and most interesting affair occurs between taxi driver Ben Ng and mainland hustler Wong Hei. The two hook up outside the train station and fight and fume in between steamy couplings.
DJ of Sex Chatline
Three friends begin a contest to find Karen, a particular girl they all like. The limits: one month, and no advertising or radio. The prize: the losers withdraw and the winner gets free reign to woo her.
Wong Hei is Dee, a nice guy who was pushed around as a kid. Back then he had a compatriot in May, who protected him by threatening other kids with her predilection for cutting up animals. Years later, Dee tries to become a hair stylist, but he just can't get it right. He trembles, messes up, and loses jobs. Furthermore, his mean co-workers pick on him. One day, when he gets framed for messing up, May shows up again, except now she looks like Hilary Tsui. The two find that their special bond remains, and then they go and kill people. Dee kills and dismembers the bodies, but not before coiffing them up with his latest Dennis Rodman 'do. One day, a retarded girl (Annie Man) witnesses Dee disposing of a body. He's instructed by May to off the girl, but he ends up taking a liking to her. It seems that he sympathizes with her vulnerability. May doesn't feel the same and you can see this conflict coming a mile away. Michael Wong and Kent Cheng are the cops who try to crack the case.
Set in the 1970s, this overlooked gem is about stripper Giu (Carrie Ng) and a mentally handicapped man named Biscuit (Wong He) making ends meet by becoming con artists.
Dung Jan Wa
Laconic, friendless, and apart, with a penchant for hot chocolate, Wong Hei specializes in killing contract killers. Hei also has personal business: to deliver a letter his father wrote years before to a mysterious lover. In Kuala Lumpur, Hei meets Jenny, a lively and outgoing barmaid, who draws him out. He discovers that he has feelings for her, and reflecting on his father's love life, Hei takes stock. Can he quit the killing and be with Jenny, or will his hunter force a final showdown?
