Jas lives together with his father, who is a truck driver and spends lot of time away from home. One day, Jas finds a girl and an old lady hiding in the barn. They call themselves Neia and Alva and have strange clothes and hair. They say they live in the woods but cannot return. Soon, couple of secret service agents show up and start asking a lot of questions. Soon they figure out that they're poachers looking for healing gem of the elves. Jas, together with his best friend Isaac, decides to help their new friends against the poachers.

When Acacia, an alternative treatment therapist, is sentenced to a mental examination on a psychiatric ward, she's looking forward to the opportunity to help a lot of new people. She's convinced that she can give her fellow patients more quality of life with clairvoyance, hypnosis and coffee readings than strong medication can. Her new methods quickly spread joy on the ward, but the medication-happy Dr. Bergstroem refuses to surrender to Acacia's strange, new-age methods. According to him she is very ill and the only solution is heavy medication.

Henrik is challenged too: His role as a man is exhibited and discussed, he has to learn how to sew, to sleep in the group bedroom, to share his inheritance with the commune and his beloved Anne with a lesbian.

A story about friendship and sticking together through tough times. The movie shows how two young girls and their families cope with their differences, how they are brought together and torn apart and how they are changed by the injury of a racing pigeon. But when the girls take it upon themselves to heal the pigeon, its recovery can bring them all hope.

Fagin is the bad bird of an otherwise idyllic forest. He assaults the nest of two wrens and destroys all their eggs except one that, when hatched, is adopted by an owl (patterned on W. C. Fields). A counter-offensive against Fagin is launched with help enlisted from a seagull named Armstrong, two nice mice and a sparrow. There is romance, too, and a jazzy score goes with this animated ornithology extravaganza.

Johannes Vig lever et ensomt liv på Sandø. Han er skolelærer og da Sandø i øjeblikket er afskåret fra omverden pga. is må øens befolkning klare sig selv. Johannes er hemmeligt forelsket i både Annemari, købmandens unge datter og i gårdmandskonen Rigmor. Samtidig er Johannes liv meget trøstesløs og det er svært for ham at give sin kærlighed udtryk. Øens liv forstyrres af Harry, en ung ingeniør der gør kur til Annemari.
