노르웨이 전설 속의 괴물 ‘훌드라’를 소재로 한 영화. 범죄 현장을 청소하는 레오와 앨비스는 산 속 오두막 지하실에 감금된 신비로운 여인을 발견한다. 위험한 실험이 자행된 듯 보이는 지하실엔 갖가지 실험 도구와 그 결과를 기록한 녹음 테이프도 연달아 발견되고, 오두막 주위에는 수상한 기운이 몰려들기 시작한다.
