From World War, to revolution and ultimately rebirth, Forever Young is the story of four generations spanning a hundred years of modern Chinese history. Each generation faces its own unique set of challenges. Up against corporate corruption, the trials and tribulations of the cultural revolution, and one's duty to nation in time of war, they are faced with choosing their individual paths through history. But as the challenges and turmoil of each generation may differ as time changes, what was learned in the past cannot help but effect the choices that are made in the future as it is passed down from generation to generation. And that is the universal message that being true to yourself is precious. A very dynamic young lady, Lin, has a thing for Japanese culture while living in Taiwan. Following the 2011 Tohoku earthquake, Lin got a Facebook message from a Japanese guy, Mogi who has been curious about the Japan-friendly country since then. The two start to interact through Facebook. During the golden week holiday, they finally met in person in Taiwan. Time passes quickly when they're together. After their first date, things seemed to move forward at the speed of light. They spent more time talking about their hopes, dreams, fears and finally came to a decision together to try and make things work, despite the circumstances.

This film delves into the heart of it as protagonist Sue (Bianca Bai, 白歆惠) loses her job as a marketing and communications specialist and ends up working as a salesperson at Carrefour. Shy and awkward in the beginning, Sue learns how to make people buy things through a series of bizarre events and eventually becomes the alpha on a television shopping channel.

Zhu Ge Liang stars as Wang Fu Gui, the 18th generation master of Baoping Temple. Despite his auspicious name, Wang is in reality a hopeless gambler who never wins. After going broke, he moves south in hopes of mooching off his wealthy brother-in-law (Namewee), but as life would have it, his brother-in-law suffers a stroke. Wang's luck takes another turn, however, when he meets female ghost Lin Qing Xia (Amber An), a famous singer who died 30 years ago. Wang utilizes Qing Xia's powers to help others, earning him the reputation of being a living deity. Meanwhile, Qing Xia wants Wang to help resolve her grudge.

펜(서기)는 팽호라는 해안마을을 찾아 어린시절의 약속을 찾고자 한다. 하지만 거창한 광고와는 달리 허름한 건물에 샤워시설조차 변변찮은 시설을 보고 팬션을 떠나려고한다. 하지만 팬션 주인 우(임현제)는 배멀미도 안 가셨으니, 하루만 머물다 가라고 부탁한다. 배멀미가 있었던 것은 사실이었던 관계로 하루를 묵게된 펜은 다음날 우와 함께 펜션을 떠나려다가 그만 바다에 빠지고 만다. 가방도 돈도 여권도 모두 잃어버린 상황. 하는 수 없이 펜은 우의 펜션에서 며칠을 더 머물게 된다. 그날 밤, 펜은 우의 가정사를 듣게 되고 자신이 신세 진 것에 대한 보답으로 우의 일을 돕기로 결심한다. 그러면서 친해지는 두 사람. 어느날 섬에 짝짓기 예능프로그램이 찾아오고, 부잣집 여인들과 섬의 아내들이 펼치는 로맨스에 펜은 질투를 한다. 촬영현장마다 찾아가 훼방을 놓는 펜. 그러면서 우는 펜이 섬에 찾아온 이유를 알게되고, 펜을 위해서 잃어버린 가방을 찾아주려다가 사고를 입고 마는데....

Compulsive gambler Jih (Tai-bao) tries to bamboozle dim-bulb gang boss Black Dog (Chen-Nan Tsai) in this satirical action-comedy that pokes fun at Taiwanese culture. To fend off Black Dog's attempt to collect a gaming debt, Jih says he can't repay the money because he needs it for the funeral of his father (Bin-hui Lee) -- who once saved the mafioso's life. Trouble is, Jih's father is alive, and Black Dog plans to attend the memorial service.
