생계를 위해 동분서주하는 IT 아르바이트생 다슝(하윤동 분)은 요 며칠 불운이 극에 달해 밤낮으로 호사를 부리는 재벌 2세녀 샤오아이(경단 분)의 차 문에 치이고 어처구니없는 사고가 잇따라 마지못해 '노예'로 팔린다. 샤오아이는 아름답고 순진하며, 다슝은 용감하고 선량해 서로 사랑스런 앙숙이 된다. 며칠 지나지 않아 다슝은 초빙을 받고 꿈에 그리던 회사에 출근하게 된다. 그러나 사장 엠마가 샤오아이와 똑같이 생겼다는 것을 알고 그는 입이 딱 벌어진다. 그의 삶이 점점 더 재미있어지는데... 삼각관계에 대한 귀여운 로맨틱 코미디. 가난한 젊은 남자와 아름다운 상속녀 보스 사이의 잘못된 정체성을 다룬다.

Due to a combination of bad writing, unnecessary and distracting directorial gimmicks (split screens, black & white, slow motion, etc.) and very inept subtitling, "West Down Girls" is almost completely impossible to follow, but I think it has something to do with the rivalry between two girls who are members of opposing street gangs, and the arrival on the scene of a third girl who is the childhood friend of one of them and the sister of the other. The (very few) action scenes are a complete mess. The film is basically an over-the-top melodrama and makes very little sense. I was too frustrated to even enjoy the beauty of Cheryl Yang and Annie Wu.

The film begins in 1941, when Commander Dor, of the Chinese Army, collects donations from his people and decides to keep the donations and burying them at Red Beach. To get back his wealth and reputation, young Shoichi (LIN Hoi) decided to make a plan for seeking buried treasure in the Philippines which is made during World War II while his Dad (Japanese military officer) was is charge to ask a Chinese coolie group to bury valuables like golds. He also knows the map is at two escaped guys both own half of it. Shoichi subsequently goes to the Philippines and PRC to get the map but in vain. The Chinese map portion is in the hands of an old guy taken care by young cop WANG Chin (Annie WU Sun-kwan). The old guy is being hurt by Shoichi while WANG started the investigation. Finally they find out the facts that the treasure contains Chinese national treasures. PRC Gov't decided to send WANG Chin and Dr. LI (MOK Siu-chung) to the Philippines to reclaim these treasures which led by a Philippine local guy (CHOW Man-kin). However, the whole treasure process is a nightmare .....
