In this particular episode, McBride's client is double-crossed during a custody case by his psychiatrist. The client later confesses to McBride that he believes he accidentally shot the doctor when he confronted him in his home. When McBride goes to the murder scene, the doctor is, as the title says, out - as in gone! A search for the body begins, with time of the essence. David Bowe has a nice comic turn as the panicked client. Former child star Sydney Penny plays one of the suspects, and she has grown up to be a very beautiful young woman. Soap star John Ingle is the confused head of the hospital.

벌레들의 두목을 잡은 후 전세를 역전시킨 지구 방위군은 기세를 몰아 격리된 벌레들의 구역에 대한 대대적인 공세에 들어 간다. 모든 전선에서 벌레들과의 전쟁이 치열하게 벌어지는 가운데 쉐퍼드 장군이 이끄는 이동 타격대가 벌레들의 공격을 받게 되고 장군은 자신과 일부 병력을 빼고 나머지 부대원들을 고지에서 500미터 떨어진 호텔 델타 185호 기지로 후퇴시키기로 한다. 이미 벌레들의 공격으로 페허가 된 기지에 도착한 그들은 방어를 준비 하던 중 기지 안 소각로에 갇혀 있는 댁스 대위를 발견한다. 임시 기지로 벌레들의 공격이 다시 시작되고 전멸에 위기에 처하게 되자 사하라 일병은 기지 상황을 잘 알고 있는 댁스 대위를 풀어 주고, 댁스 대위의 활약으로 벌레들을 물리치게 된다. 그러는 사이에 고지에 남아 있던 쉐퍼드 장군은 낯선 군인들과 함께 돌아온다. 벌레들의 공격에 대비해 방어 준비와 구조 요청을 준비하면서 밤을 보내는 중, 장군과 함께들어온 펙 중사와 그리프 하사, 소다 일병은 다른 부대원들에게 은밀히 접근을 하게 되고, 부대원들이 하나 둘씩 이상한 행동을 하게 된다. 그들은 이미 인간의 몸 속에 들어가 뇌를 지배하는 벌레들에게 지배를 받고 있었던 것이다. 하나 둘씩 부대원들은 감염이 되어 가고 새벽 무렵, 벌레들의 목적이 쉐퍼드 장군을 감염시켜 인류의 몰살시키려는 사실을 알게 된 댁스 대위와 사하라 일병은 감염된 부대원과 물밀 듯 쳐들어오는 벌레들과의 일전을 벌이게 된다.

일찌기 엄마를 잃은데다 아버지가 여기저기 떠돌기 때문에 고아나 다름없는 소년 로져(Roger : 조셉 고든-레빗 분)는 캘리포니아의 야구팀 '엔젤스'가 우승하면 가족과 함께 살 수 있다는 아버지의 말을 믿는다. 한편 로져의 유일한 희망인 엔젤스팀은 우승은 커녕 해체될 위기에 처해있다. 이 팀의 감독 죠지 녹스(George Knox : 대니 글로버 분)는 우리팀 섬수들은 실력도 근성도 없는데다 재수까지 없다고 투덜거린다. 이러한 절망적인 상황 속에서 로져는 앤젤스 팀이 이기게 해 달라고 하늘에게 빌기 시작한다. 버림받은 소년의 기도가 너무나 간절해서인지 아니면 명색이 엔젤스팀이 계속 지니깐 천사들의 체면이 상해서인지 알(Al The Angel : 크리스토퍼 로이드 분)이라는 이름의 천사를 선두로 천사들은 엔젤스가 시합을 벌이는 야구장에서 재미있는 기적을 일으키기 시작한다. 그리고 천사들의 도움을 받은 엔젤스 선수들은 자신들에게 필요한 것은 목표를 향한 신념과 용기라는 것을 깨닫기 시작하는데...

The nerds are now in control of the university, as a result of Lewis Skolnick and the rest's actions in the two previous movies. A new generation of sportsmen arrive, however, determined on winning the school back. The principle, himself an ex-nerd fighter, helps them, and the nerds return to suppression. Harold Skolnick needs help from his uncle Lewis, the hero of the first two movies. Lewis, however, are not too proud of his nerd past, and won't reveal any of it, much less help his nephew. However, his wife makes him change his mind, and with help from his friends from the first two movies, they start the fight to win the school back, using classic nerd tricks.

Mary Lou, the prom queen burned to death by her boyfriend back in the fifties, has escaped from hell and is once again walking the hallways of Hamilton High School, looking for blood. She chooses as her escort in world of the living Alex, an average depressed student with dreams of one day becoming a doctor. As Mary Lou begins to get back into form, the body count starts climbing and the graduating class of Hamilton High is once again smaller than expected.
