Dr. T's Patient
일명 닥터 T인 설리반 트래비스 박사(리차드 기어 분)는 부유하고 핸섬하며 성공한 의사이자 아름다운 아내와 딸을 가진 행복한 가장으로서 그야말로 모든 남성들의 선망의 대상이 될 만한 인물이다. 하지만 이러한 닥터 T에게도 마치 성경의 욥기에 나오는 이야기와 같은 시련이 찾아온다. 헌신적인 수간호사 캐롤라인의 노력에도 불구하고 초과 예약 스케쥴로 인해 서서히 주민들에게 자신에 대한 신임을 잃어가는 동시에, 그의 가정 역시 딸의 결혼을 앞둔 아내가 결혼생활에 권태감을 느끼면서 파문이 인다. 성경의 욥기는 사막에서 하느님의 대답을 기다리던 욥에게 "인생이란 풀어야할 퍼즐이 아니라 심사숙고해야할 난제이다."라는 음성이 들려오면서 끝나는데, 이와 유사하게 시련에 빠진 닥터 T의 이야기 역시 텍사스의 폭풍이 놀라운 결말을 장식한다.

Lonnie and Rick seem to be complete opposites, at first glance. A survivor of suicide, Lonnie is introverted and ill at ease around her parents, Lois and Harvey. Rick, meanwhile, is sunny and charismatic. But appearances can be deceiving, as their families learn when the teens begin a romance.
