정역붕(범동우)의 아버지는 중매쟁이를 통해 아들의 혼처를 알아보다가 조건이 잘 맞는 처자를 찾는다. 사실 역붕에게는 사랑하는 여인 소청이 있었고, 역붕은 원치 않는 혼사를 피하고자 소림사에 속가 제자로 들어간다. 하지만 사부님은 속가 제자들에게 소림 무술을 가르쳐 주지 않고 잡일만 시켜자 속가 제자들의 불만은 날로 커진다. 한편, 속가 제자로 예전에 소림사에서 무술을 배웠던 한 협객이 소림사를 찾아와 소림사의 고승과 무술 대결을 하기를 청하는데…

Liu Yung plays Li Lang, a court official out to avenge his former emperor. The target is easy to hate: the power-hungry Kuang-yi (Chao Kuo) is a plundering rapist and a cold-blooded murderer. But can one man take on the imperial army?

The story follows a "loveable" rascal as he gambles and gets into various bits of trouble with outlaws and rebels. He eventually gets into a situation where he has to impersonate the eunuch servant of an elderly eunuch who is an evil martial art master. This gets the rascal involved with the emperor who is studying martial arts. The whole movie revolves around a quest for all the copies of a special Buddhist text.

이막수(염니)라는 여인이 옛 애인인 육가의 사람들을 해치울때 이를 구경하던 떠돌이 고아 양과(장국영)는 시체에서 발견한 빵을 먹다가 독에 감염된다. 이때 두꺼비 모양으로 물구나무를 서는 구양봉에게서 독을 치료받고 두꺼비 권법도 배우지만 그는 어디론가 가버린다. 한편 무림 최고의 검객부부 곽정(진관태)과 황용(유설화)은 우연히 양과를 만나 그가 양강의 아들임을 알게되고, 책임을 느껴 그를 거둔다. 양과가 권력과 돈만을 추구했던 아버지의 전철을 밟을까 고민하던 황용은 그에게 글을 가르치며 교육하려 하지만, 양과는 글보다는 무술에 더 관심이 많다. 결국 중원무술의 본산이라는 종남산 전진교의 중양궁으로 데려가 양과를 그곳에 맡긴다. 그러나 아버지에 대한 사람들의 미움 때문에 무술을 배우기는 커녕 전진교 사람들에게 멸시와 구박만 받는다. 결국 이를 참다 못해 도망친 그는 소용녀(옹정정)가 사는 고묘(古墓)로 들어간다. 외부인을 받아들이지 않는 규율 때문에 그를 거절하던 소용녀는 유모의 마지막 유언에 양과를 제자로 받아들여 함께 고묘파의 절세비급인 옥녀심경을 수련하고, 점차 사제 이상의 애정을 키워간다. 그러던 중 두사람은 수련을 위해 고묘 밖으로 나오게 되는데..

A criminal comes to town in order to kill Billy Chong over a past dispute. But instead of getting his own hands dirty, he hires a Taoist wizard to animate some zombies to do the job for him. The plan goes horribly awry, and the bad guy ends up getting killed in his own trap. This pisses off the villain's spirit and he forces the priest to reincarnate him - only they can't find a suitable body. Meanwhile, an undead fiend of sorts comes to town to kill Billy's father over some other past dispute. This is where all of Billy's kung fu training comes in handy, and he manages to kill the attacker. With this, the other bad guy finally has a body to use, but the reincarnation goes wrong and the corpse is reborn as a vampire.

강호에 ‘혈앵무’에 관한 전설이 떠돈다. 세상의 모든 신마들이 모여 마왕의 생일을 축하하고자 피를 모아 만든 것이 혈앵무다. 누구든지 온몸에 빛이 나는 이 새를 보면 세 가지 소원을 이룰 수 있다. 황제에게 도둑맞은 보물을 찾으란 명을 받은 곽번은 보물을 찾다 혈앵무를 만난다. 마침 곤경에 처해 있던 터라 곽번은 첫 번째 소원을 빈다. 얼마 뒤 보물을 찾게 되지만 아들이 갑작스러운 죽음을 맞이한다. 상실감에 빠진 곽번은 두 번째 소원으로 아들이 살아오기를 빌고, 그 와중에 곽번이 죽임을 당하고 보물은 감쪽같이 사라진다. 무림인들은 사라진 보물을 찾기 위해 혈투를 벌인다. 한편 왕풍은 곽번의 죽음을 조사하면서 혈앵무에 얽힌 비밀을 알게 된다.

It happened in Hong Kong in the early 1970s. At that time, the Chinese people were in a difficult situation. They smuggled into Hong Kong in large numbers and found another way out.

Sung Shao Chong (Billy Chong) traverses the Arizona desert, helping those in need on the way to meet his old friend Kum (Lam Hak-Ming) in a small western town. Once there, he runs into a group of men who terrorize the town and extort the local businesses. Meanwhile, a trio of three bank robbers need a place to hide until the heat dies down from a recent heist. They pick the home of a black farming family and subsequently kill them, leaving only the severly injured eldest son Tommy (Carl Scott) to escape. Tommy is found by Chong and Kum and is brought to the home of Doctor Ko (Leung Siu-Chung), who heals his injuries. Eventually Tommy learns kung fu from Ko, and sets out for payback. Luckily for Tommy, Chong is also bent on revenge after the bandits hire the local troublemakers and some Japanese samurai to kill him.

A young man vows revenge against the killers of his father. To do this, he must train with his father's teacher who teaches him the "Shadow Claw", a deadly combination of the eagle claw and shadow fist.

Set in early 20th century Shanghai, this Hua Shan actioner stars former Golden Harvest regular Nora Miao Ke-hsiu as Bobo, a village girl who has journeyed to the big city in search of her father. Not long after her arrival, Bobo witnesses a gang fight dominated by a man she was friends with as a child. Now known as Jaguar, he works as a bodyguard for mob boss Kam, who is having a row with one of his partners. Jaguar makes trouble at one of the man's casinos as a part of a plan to smooth over the situation. Ace gunman Ko Tang is also in town and the two strike up an alliance to take over Kam's empire. Jaguar's lust for power soon alienates Bobo, who realizes that she was simply a pawn in his plan to gain control of the Shanghai underworld. Held a virtual prisoner, Bobo's one hope for revenge is Luo Lie, another friend from childhood and now her fiancee, currently imprisoned in Germany.
