크리스마스 이브 날 푸와 친구들은 푸의 집에서 크리스마스 파티를 준비한다. 파티 준비에 한창이던 푸와 친구들은 지난 크리스마스를 회상하며 추억에 잠기는데…. 크리스마스를 맞이해서 크리스토퍼 로빈은 숲의 친구들에게 각자의 소원들을 적어서 산타클로스 할아버지에게 편지를 보내자고 제안한다. 크리스토퍼 로빈과 숲의 친구들은 각자 자신에게 가장 필요한 선물을 편지에 쓰기 위해서 고민한다. 결국, 크리스토퍼 로빈은 친구들과 함께 탈 수 있는 썰매를, 푸는 맛있는 꿀 한 단지를, 티커는 눈 위에서도 콩콩 뛰기를 할 수 있는 꼬리용 눈 장화를 , 래빗은 평소 아끼던 야채 밭의 벌레들을 쫓아낼 수 있는 파리채를 생각해 낸다. 또한, 이요르는 눈이 집 위에 쌓이지 않도록 집을 보호할 커다란 우산을, 피글렛은 산타 할아버지가 주는 것이면 무엇이든 다 좋다고 쓴다. 그리고, 각자의 크리스마스 소원을 적은 편지를 가지고 절벽위로 올라가 북쪽을 향해 던진다. 그러나, 얼마 후 피글렛은 산타클로스에게 보낼 편지에 푸가 갖고 싶어하는 선물을 쓰지 않았다는 사실을 기억해 내고, 푸와 피글렛은 함께 이미 산타 할아버지에게 보낸 편지를 찾아 나서는데….
