스페인 마드리드에서 바텐더 일을 하며 근근이 삶을 이어가고 있는 다이애나 디아즈(엘사 파타키 분)는 언젠가 스타가 될 날만을 꿈꾸고 있다. 현실의 삶이 지긋지긋해진 그녀는 스페인에서의 안 좋은 기억들을 모두 떨쳐버리고자 친구와 고향을 떠나 무작정 마이애미로 향한다. 그 곳에서 새로운 친구들을 만나게 되고, 할리우드라는 새로운 세계에 발을 들이게 되지만 스타가 되는 길은 험난하기만 하다. 다이애나는 ‘디디’라는 예명을 얻으며 할리우드의 달콤함을 맛보기 시작한다. 이전과 달라진 위상과 함께 유명세를 얻는 데에는 성공하지만, 진짜 스타가 되기 위해서 디디가 치러야 할 대가는 그녀가 생각했던 것 이상이었는데…… 과연 디디는 꿈꾸었던 배우의 꿈을 이루고 진정한 행복을 찾을 수 있을까?

The Baseline is the centre of the East London grime club scene and the queue regularly stretches around the block. Danny works on the door - breaking up fights and managing drunk kids.
