2007년 춘절, 귀향하는 기차에서 처음 만나 친구가 된 ‘린젠칭’(정백연)과 ‘팡샤오샤오’(주동우). 베이징에서 함께 꿈을 나누며 연인으로 발전하지만, 현실의 장벽 앞에 결국 가슴 아픈 이별을 하게 된다. 10년이 흐른 후, 두 사람은 북경행 비행기에서 운명처럼 재회하고 지난 시간들을 돌아보며 추억을 이야기하기 시작하는데…

임종을 맞이하는 노인이 행복했던 순간을 떠올린다. 딸 후이잉은 고향 마을에 모셔둔 아버지의 묘를 이장해 어머니와 함께 모시기로 마음을 먹지만, 고향에는 아버지의 첫 번째 부인, 난나가 매일 산소를 돌보며 살아온 지 수십 년. 절대 이장해줄 수 없다며 철벽 방어를 하는 난나와의 갈등은 마을 전체의 문제로 커진다. 방송국에서 근무하는 후이잉의 딸 웨이웨이는 동료들에게 이장문제로 벌어진 엄마와 난나의 몸싸움을 보여줬다가 그들의 갈등이 취잿거리가 되면서 사람들의 입방아에 오른다. 영화는 각 세대를 대표하는 세 여성의 삶을 통해 중국 근현대사를 은유적으로 관통하며 다양한 결과와 섬세한 정서를 탁월하게 그려낸다. 8, 90년대 산업화를 경험한 후이잉이 부모 세대와 화해하지 못하고, 자식 세대와도 교감하지 못하는 모습은 유사한 경험을 가지고 있는 아시아인이라면 누구나 깊이 공감할 수 있는 지점이다. 하지만 이 영화의 가장 큰 매력 중 하나는 영화 곳곳에 배치된 음악들이다. 특히 라디오에서 들려주는 중국 록의 전설, 추이지엔(한국계 최건으로 알려진)의 (꽃집 아가씨)을 배경으로 부부가 대화를 나누는 장면은 깊은 울림으로 남는데, 중화권 사람들에게 각별한 의미를 지닌다는 90년대에 대한 향수와 복고 감성이 고스란히 드러나는 지점이기도 하다.

쾌활하고 긍적적인 성격의 택시 운전사 샤오이(탕웨이)는 뛰어난 운전실력을 가졌지만 어린 시절 아버지의 죽음으로 인한 트라우마로 심리장애를 앓고 있다. 최고의 레이싱팀 ‘스피드 엔젤’의 코치 가오펭(한재석)은 우연한 사건으로 샤오이의 드라이빙 소질을 알아보고 그녀를 스카우트해 훈련시키지만 샤오이는 긴장감 때문에 자신이 가진 실력을 발휘하지 못하고, 샤오이 우상이자 여자 레이싱계의 살아있던 전설이었던 한 빙마저 알코올 중독에 빠져 최고의 상태를 회복하지 못한다. 설상가상으로 최대 라이벌팀 ‘사쿠라’가 방해전략을 펼치는 가운데 스피드 엔젤스의 사기는 땅으로 떨어지고, 과거 같은 팀원이자 한 빙의 절친이었지만 사랑을 위해 모두를 배신하고 ‘사쿠라’로 이적한 유메이(장백지)와의 결전이 다가오는데...

In the romantic-comedy "Mr. and Mrs. Single," the movie tackles the Chinese social phenomenon of secret marriages for young couples looking for better jobs and higher income. A young man with high mortgage payments to fulfill takes the job of a personal-assistant to a female CEO under the condition that he is still single.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Rock Records in Taiwan, the music label put together an unprecedented concert in the history of Taiwan music, supported by more than 60 performing units. The show toured through Asia and many cities in the Mainland, and finally drew its curtains in Taipei Arena in November 2011. The massive lineup posed an array of challenges in terms of scheduling, lightning, sound and stage design for the crew, but in the end everything came together and resulted in a grand five-hour spectacle. To take him overseas for medical treatment, she needs money, and a lot of it. Using what she learned from her brother's tragic incident, she calmly masterminds the kidnapping of a tycoon's son, a case that again falls into the laps of workaholic detective and divorced mother Yuen Chun. These two strong-minded women square off in a high-stakes battle of wits, but plans and composure melt away on both sides when they realize that Hiu Yeung has nabbed the wrong kid - Yuen Chun's son.

1930년대. 상하이에 중국 최초의 라디오 방송국, 미모의 DJ 만리(판빙빙)는 라디오를 통해 청취자의 사연을 읽어주는 ‘심중유귀’라는 프로를 진행하고 있었다. 영화 감독인 준추라는 애인이 있던 그녀는 그가 보낸 청혼의 편지를 읽고 들떠서 뛰어나가지만 준추의 눈 앞에서 교통사고를 당해 목숨을 잃고 만다. 만리를 잊지 못한 준추는 자신의 집 다락방에 만리의 물건들을 옮겨놓게 되고 그와 동시에 만리의 혼까지 준추의 집으로 들어오게 된다. 준추의 모친은 슬픔에 잠긴 아들이 안타까워 자신이 죽을 병에 걸렸다고 속이고 준추를 산산이라는 여자와 혼인시키지만 준추는 산산에게 차갑기만 하다. 준추의 대저택에서 외롭게 살아가던 산산은 어느 날, 다락방에서 들리는 이상한 라디오 소리에 끌려 만리의 영혼과 만나게 된다. 만리는 산산에게 괴로워하는 준추를 함께 돕자고 제안하며 자신에게 몸을 빌려달라고 부탁하는데..

1930년대 중국. 극장주의 딸인 잉거와 미국에서 온 그녀의 약혼자 샤오둥, 그리고 경극배우의 스타 린청은 이제 막 만났다. 금융을 배우러 갔다가 첼리스트가 되어 돌아온 샤오둥은 오랫동안 편지를 주고받았던, 그러나 처음 만나는 잉거가 낯설지가 않지만 린청의 노래를 듣고는 순식간에 매혹당한다. 사랑과 우정이 엇갈린 상태로 엮인 것이다.

안과 의사 두 지아첸은 신문의 개인 광고란에 청혼 광고를 싣는다. 그 일로 인해 두는 솔직한 사람에서 소심한 사람, 또한 젊은이에서 노인에 이르기까지 직업과 연령, 성격이 다양한 여러 남자들을 만나게 된다. 또한 이런 만남 속에서 그녀는 신분을 감춘 채 남자들의 외로운 마음을 엿보고 있는 자신을 발견한다.

A rather dejected Mei-li Chen lives with her extended family in the suburbs. She drops out of college when the boy she has a crush on finds a girlfriend. Mei-li eventually ends up selling tickets in a movie theatre. A great camaraderie then builds up between the two cashiers in the small ticket booth.

The Chen family contagiousness extends to taking on an extra-marital affair. Gua Ah-leh is at the movie's centre: she shines as Lung's wife, who finds she has a thing or two to learn from the gigolo after Lung blithely. Lang Hisung plays old dentist for broad comedy he is sixty years old.

Cop action movie clumsily inter-cut with slapstick. Dumb cop befriends triad guy who wants to go straight but is being set up by his unscrupulous drug dealing colleagues.

In 1949, the Communists take over mainland. The refugees and the military arrive in the Keelung Harbor in Taiwan. While the father holds secret meetings with other generals in attempt to recover the lost land, the kids still play games with their grandma who still enjoys the harmony and peace in hardship. Gradually, it seems that there was no hope to fight back the fatherland. The general turned father has to run a small business to support the family. He encounters a series of struggles. And finally his kids grow up.

In December 1937, during the Second Japanese-Sino War, a Chinese doctor, his Japanese pregnant wife, their teenage daughter and their young son travel from Shanghai to Nanjing seeking shelter in the Capital during the Japanese invasion. The family faces the Rape of Nanking by the Imperial Japanese Army, with rapes, mass murder of prisoners of war and civilians including women, children and elders, and disrespect of international conventions.
