Of the films that Psilander made at Nordisk during the first two years it is the film Dødsspring til Hest fra Cirkuskuplen (The Great Circus Catastrophe), that is worth noting. Maybe not so much for Psilander's acting, but for the sensational, action-packed storylines that he was in. This film shows the other side of Psilander's fame: his daring. He was an excellent rider and looked fantastic in long riding boots and elegant riding jackets and this skill was exploited in his films.

Anna, a beautiful girl from a poor background, is offered a well-paid position as a lady's companion in London. Anna's boyfriend, the sceptical Georg, suspects that the job offer is too good to be true, but Anna dismisses him and reports to the London address. The stately home in England turns out to be a whorehouse that imports women from Denmark. Anna manages to overpower her first client but is unable to escape.

A fisherman has a quarrel with his fiancé who, in rage, throws her ring into the sea. An old suitor notices her bare ring finger and senses a second chance. While on a fishing trip, he happens to catch the fish that seems to have swallowed the thrown-away ring. Luck befalls him once again as later in the day, he wins a card game with the fisherman who, frustrated, has to give up his own ring.
