Mahmoud
Jamal has just returned to Australia after disappearing overseas for 18 months fighting in Syria. He's back in the country and wants to see his terminally ill mother, however he has to deal with his strong-minded older brother Omar, then his wife Heidi and their young son whom he left behind, but most importantly his unforgiving father. But why has Jamal really come back? Is he a militant with a cause or an easily led pawn in a bigger picture? Lieutenant's Aid
1916년 제1차 세계 대전 당시 영국군과 독일군은 지리한 참호전을 펼친다. 영국군은 독일군 참호를 향해 돌격하지만 실패하고, 그로 인해 아서 윌킨스는 두 국가의 교전 지역 사이에 위치한 무인 지대에 갇히고 만다. 그런데 거기서 같은 영국군 동료인 리처드 하사와 올리어리 이병을 만난다. 리처드는 아서의 친한 동료이자 부하로 한쪽 다리를 잃은 상태였고, 올리어리는 어리고 겁이 많은 초보 군인이었다. 아서는 몸이 불편한 리처드와 두려움에 떠는 올리어리를 포기하지 않고 함께 보듬으면서 영국군 참호로 돌아가기 위해 갖은 노력을 한다. 기관총과 대포, 폭탄, 그리고 가스 공격까지 감행되고 독일군의 삼엄한 감시가 계속되는 가운데, 세 사람은 서로 도와 가며 목숨 걸고 사투를 벌이는데…
