Tamogami (Muro Tsuyoshi), an employee of an event company, meets YouTuber Yuri-chan (Kishii Yukino) at a blind date. Tamogami takes pity on Yuri-chan, who is struggling with her view count, and begins to help her with her YouTube channel without asking for anything in return, as if he were a "god. Despite the fact that the number of subscribers is slow to increase, they work hard to stay positive and become good partners. One day, through the introduction of Tamogami's colleague Umekawa (Tatsuya Wakaba), Yuri-chan meets popular YouTubers Chorey and Kabigon (Kaito Yoshimura and Awari), and their "physical" collaboration video suddenly gets a lot of buzz. Yuri-chan also met handsome designer Allen Murakami (Shuntaro Yanagi), and quickly became one of the most popular YouTubers. 출판사 편집자로 일하는 노리코(가와이 아오바)는 우울한 날이면 상복을 입고 늦은 밤 심야식당을 찾아간다. 노리코에겐 스트레스를 푸는 작은 의식이다. 하지만 불행은 꼭 한꺼번에 몰려온다. 회사의 주요 프로젝트에서 제외된 일을 시작으로 연인, 가족 관계에서 문제가 잇따르자 노리코는 도쿄를 훌쩍 떠나버린다. 사연 있는 사람들이 이어서 심야식당을 방문한다. 메밀국숫집 아들이지만 우동을 더 좋아하는 세이타와 가업을 이끄는 엄마 세이코, 연락이 닿지 않는 아들을 기다리며 도쿄에 머무는 유키코 할머니와 그런 그녀에게 따뜻한 쉴 곳을 마련해주는 미치루(다베 미카코)다.

도쿄의 번화가 뒷골목, 조용히 자리잡고 있는 밥집이 있다. 모두가 귀가할 무렵 문을 여는 심야식당의 영업시간은 밤 12시부터 아침 7시까지. 주인장이 가능한 요리는 모두 해주는 이 곳 마스터는 손님들의 허기와 마음을 달래줄 음식을 만든다. 시간이 시간인지라, 단골 손님들은 주로 한물간 스트립쇼 걸, 게이, 조폭 등 사연 있는 사람들. 어느 날 식당에서 손님이 두고 간 것으로 추정되는 유골함이 발견된다. 마스터는 유골함을 들고 근처 경찰서의 경관 코구레를 찾아간다.

Masaru, a 23-year-old who has a passive attitude toward life in general, professes himself as a “genius odd-job-man” but is screwing up all of the time. 하야토는 과거 레이서 경주 중에 상대방을 죽음에 이르게 해서 살인자라는 별명을 가진 떠돌이 레이서이다. 자동차정비소를 하는 아버지와 함께 사는 마히로는 아버지가 아파 쓰러져 장애가 된 후로 더 이상 정비 일을 하지 못하는 바람에 생활고 마져 어려운 처지에 놓이게 된다. 그러던 중 불법 자동차 경주를 구경 하러 갔다가 아무 생각 없이 다른이의 자동차를 사진기에 담게 되고 그로 인해 곤욕을 지르던 중 하야토의 도움을 받게 된다. 그런 인연으로 하야토는 마히로의 정비소에서 우연히 자동차의 정비를 손 보이고 훌륭한 그의 정비 솜씨에 반한 마히로는 가게에 머물며 정비 일을 도와 주기를 바라게 된다. 그러나 하야토가 평범한 정비공이 아님을 알게 된다. 우연히 마히로 아버지의 차를 보고 몰게 된 하야토는 마히로의가게를 넘보는 돈 많은 상대 정비소의 아들과 마히로의 가게를 보호하기 위해 경주에 나서게 되는데...
