A Legend and an icon; the man known worldwide as Samoa Joe was one of the men upon whose hard work, drive, and determination Ring of Honor was built. Legendary...for 645 days and through 29 successful title defenses, that is just one of many words that describes the ROH World Title reign of Samoa Joe. Unstoppable...that is what Joe proved to be as he barreled through one challenger after another. Homicide, Christopher Daniels, AJ Styles, Paul London, an d even CM Punk, not one of them were able to stop the onslaught of the man who elevated the ROH Title first into a World Title and then into the most prestigious championship in professional wrestling today. Samoa Joe was a true one man wrecking crew as he demolished his opponents with a mix of brutality and finesse that will likely never be touched by any other warrior.

ROH: Year Three

2004 was a turbulent year for Ring of Honor but also one of growth & change. From first-time travels to Chicago and St. Paul to the rise of Austin Aries and the debut of legends like Mick Foley & Ricky Steamboat, it was twelve full months of excitement and, as always, the best wrestling on the planet.
ROH: Year Two
Homicide
Ring of Honor began 2003 by entering into new territory and ended it with some of the best wrestlers from Japan gracing the ring, and in-between firmly established ROH as the premier wrestling company on the planet. Whether it be in Strong Style competition or high-flying exhibitions, tag team battles or in championship bouts, Ring of Honor proved itself the home of true no limits wrestling.
ROH: Ring of Hardcore
Homicide
There are many faces to Ring of Honor: the pure wrestling, the high flying exhibitions, and state of the art tag team wrestling. Yet there is one face that, while infrequently seen, looms just as tall. It is a bloody face, one scarred by chairs, tables, and ladders, one born in the fires of what the legendary mick Foley dubbed "The Ring of Hardcore"!
ROH: Japan's Finest
Homicide
Since its inception, Ring of Honor has prided itself on presenting the absolute best professional wrestling on the planet with the top athletes not just from the United States but from around the world. In that endeavor, we have been graced with the presence of numerous wrestlers from the world of Japanese Puroresu; from young up & comers to the legends of the squared circle, ROH has been home to them all over the years. Be it Jushin 'Thunder' Liger & The Great Muta or Go Shiozaki & Dragon Kid, they have all competed here and enriched the great history of ROH.
Christopher Daniels: The Fallen Angel
Homicide
In 2002, ROH was founded with several precepts in mind: sportsmanship, respect, and, of course, honor. These ideas were expressed in the Code of Honor and that code was embodied by a handshake that preceded and followed each match. Enter Christopher Daniels, the man who declared from day one that he would not follow such a code, that he rejected those ideals, and as he built a Prophecy around him, worked to decimate what the code stood for. Whether he was facing Bryan Danielson & Low Ki in the first ever main event or Samoa Joe in a World Title Challenge, Daniels denied the handshake with every fiber of his being. Yet with a forced absence and battles against the likes of Claudio Castagnoli and CM Punk, things changed...
The Briscoe Brothers: The Baddest Tag Team on the Planet
Homicide
Jay & Mark Briscoe have defined tag team wrestling in Ring of Honor since day one. As part of ROH from the very first event in 2002, the brothers from Sandy Fork, DE have captured the ROH World Tag Titles multiple times with a fast-paced, hard-hitting, risk-taking style that has certainly cemented them as ROH legends. As a duo, they have faced every team that has ever set foot into the ROH ring and dominated them with their tag team excellence and with their willingness to brawl it out if the situation calls for it. With their title bouts against teams such as Austin Aries & Roderick Strong, their brutal Ladder War, or their state of the art contests against Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin, Jay & Mark Briscoe have demonstrated why they are the most respected team in ROH history. Fearless, confident and driven, the Briscoe Brothers are indeed The Baddest Tag Team on the Planet!

Austin Aries: Evolution of A-Double
Homicide
One of the most explosive, charismatic, intense stars to ever enter the ROH arena, Austin Aries immediately made an impression on the fans and left them clamoring for more. The man once referred to as "The Wrestling Machine" awed the ROH faithful with his combination of technical precision, high flying abilities, and a deadly combination of maneuvers that launched him in the Ring of Honor history books when he faced down Samoa Joe at "Final Battle 2004".
AJ Styles: Styles Clash
Homicide
Phenomenal. That is the one word that has defined AJ Styles wrestling career and, without a doubt, his tenure in Ring of Honor Wrestling. From the day AJ first came to ROH for his debut match against Low Ki, he wowed the fans with his own unique blend of high-flying wrestling and hard-hitting strikes. From 2002 until his temporary departure in 2004, AJ Styles engaged in one spectacular bout after another against opponents the likes of Christopher Daniels, Bryan Danielson, The Briscoes, not to mention his instant classic agaisnt Paul London at 'Night of the Grudges'. Just as AJ made history by being crowned the first ROH Pure Champion, he was forced to leave Ring of Honor but returned after a year away, better than ever before, to plunge into a heated rivalry with former protege Jimmy Rave.
