The story is about Vishnu, a geologist and his wife, Sumathi, a teacher. They have been married for the past seven years but have not been gifted with a child. Things change once Vishnu falls while carrying out his work in a cave. He then sees a bright ray of light. Since that day he experiences strange incidents around him and his wife. An old man who appears to know what is happening, passes Sumathi a book, telling her to read it and to be careful. It looks like Vishnu and Sumathi are targeted by beings from outer space.

This movie tells different stories of people who have become desperate with city life. Rosli is a stall owner who, in his quest to get rich, borrows money from illegal moneylenders. However he loses all his money in a get rich quick scheme and now owes the moneylenders a significant amount. Unable to pay, his wife and son are kidnapped by the moneylenders to ensure his repayment. Meanwhile a young man, Rizal, is involved with the illegal racing scene. He crosses paths with a notorious racer Legau and in their attempts to beat each other, they cause the deaths of innocent people. Ria, on the other hand, is involved in the sale of designer drugs headed by her boyfriend Nala. In a period of rebelliousness she meets Sufi, a nightclub waiter. Sufi is an addict but his relationship with Ria becomes so strong that he decides to take her away from Nala

Ah Lok Kafe is a trendy little place in Kuala Lumpur and is a family-run business currently owned by Tan Ah Lok, who happens to be a die-hard Elvis Presley fan. The Kafe is a popular place frequented by Malaysians from all walks of life and even offers a karaoke lounge for punters. Ah Lok however, runs into some financial trouble when his daughter Ai Ling is diagnosed with a rare heart disease. In order to pay for his daughter’s treatment, Ah Lok’s only choice is to sell his cafe to a shady contractor who plans to demolish the building to make way for a condominium project. So, does this spell the end of Ah Lok Kafe?
