눈보라가 내리치는 산장. 그 곳은 아버지로부터 상습적인 폭행과 감금을 당하는 소년 거너가 살고 있는 곳이다. 거너의 부모는 그를 죽이려고 했지만 욘의 도움으로 그는 살아나게 된다. 그리고 거너는 부모를 찾아가 잔인하게 복수한다. 그로부터 12년 후 6명의 젊은이들(시리, 누트, 시몬, 헤다, 앤더스, 마그네)이 그 곳에 캠핑을 온다. 누트는 산장에서 12년 전 한 아이가 실종되었으며 그 후 그의 부모도 사라졌다는 이야기를 해준다. 산장을 둘러보던 시리는 오싹함을 느끼게 되고 친구들과 함께 숲에서 야영을 하기로 한다. 한밤 중 밀애를 즐기기 위해 숲으로 들어간 시리와 누트는 살인마가 설치한 구덩이에 빠지게 되고 살인마의 광란이 시작되는데…

A man convicted in his teens for killing a child is released on parole. He finds work as a church organist and develops a rewarding relationship with a priest and her young son. However, his caring for the boy catches the attention of his old victim's mother, bringing to the surface her bad memories and unanswered questions. This draws them both into troubled waters, having to learn when to hold on and when to let go.

This kid has to move to a farm in his summer vacation and don't get to go to Norway Cup as he had planned for. Out on the country there is bad cellphone reception, cow smell and inbreed farmers as far as the eye can see. The family Volvo get stolen and the foreigners in the small town automatically gets blamed. From there is a chase to discover what truly happened...
