The journey of Jane nicknamed Stone Fish, a 30-year-old woman who returns to her run-down and desolate hometown to bury her estranged father, whom she hadn't seen in many years. With the aid of her childhood friend, a former convict, Jane embarks on a mission to transport her father's body to the morgue. However, their journey takes an unexpected turn as they encounter a motley crew of bandits, ex-criminals, and police officers along the way.

Moscow with its glossy skyscrapers and busy highways is no longer home for Igor Sokolovsky. He took his daughter Sonya and moved to the picturesque countryside in the south. A cottage in the mountains, steep winding tracks, and a new eco-hotel as a family business - that's what his life is about now. But before the hotel's grand opening everything goes awry. The place gets smashed, then Sokolovsky meets another silver-spooner and steps on the toes of a local power broker who wants to destroy an entire residential area and build a winery there.

Andrey, the owner of a construction company, has to turn to an official he knows for help in order to win a government tender and avoid bankruptcy. Everything is ready to meet the "dear" guest, but as soon as he crosses the threshold, everything goes awry from the very first minute.

A precious royal relic, a diamond-encrusted golden scepter is hidden somewhere in town; Bender needs a partner on his mission to find it, and offers Osip a share of the profit from selling the treasure. And so begins their joint venture, wrought with comical and dangerous twists and turns, where they have to outsmart and outmaneuver officers of the White Guard as well as the local mafia, who also have their eyes on the scepter. As their quest unfolds, Osip is compelled to learn Bender’s tricks of the trade: charming flattery, delicate deception, soft intimidation... as well as brute force.

A young artist Ivan is preparing a work for an exhibition on the preservation of values. His work causes a public outcry: it attracts the attention of religious activists of the "God's punishment" organization, officials and journalists. As a result, the painting is removed from the exhibition, and the activists first attack, and then set fire to the artist's studio. The painting is saved, but Ivan faces a criminal case, so together with the curator of the exhibition, he goes to the Pen & Paper Bar Association to find protection and get advice on what to do next in this situation. Lawyers are preparing a defense strategy, and a bewildered artist, who by chance found himself in the epicenter of an absurd religious and cultural conflict, confronts musician Sergei Shnurov at the door of the college. Who seems to need help too.

포옹한 부부를 따뜻한 톤으로 화면 가득 담아내는 첫 시퀀스는 강렬한 흡입력을 가진다. 시베리아 작은 마을, 정직하고 성실한 패밀리맨 이고르는 이웃에게서 존경받는 인물이다. 어느 날 그에게 삶이 두 달밖에 남지 않았다는 사형선고가 내린다. 병원도 샤머니즘 민간요법도 그를 살릴 수 없다. 가족을 두고 죽을 수 없는 그는 극단적 결심을 하게 된다. 는 성별을 바꾸면 죽음을 피할 수 있다는 시베리아의 우화에서 모티브를 얻은 영화이다. 조용한 시골 마을에서 파란을 일으킬 만한 결심을 한 이후, 이고르는 침묵한다. 그의 심리적 압박감과 고립감은 가족과 단절하고 숨어들어 간 헛간과 숲속 오두막이라는 공간에서 극대화된다. 진한 검은 색조의 영상은 어둠 속에 잠긴 그의 고독감을 세련되게 보여준다. 상대에 대한 소중함이 배어 나오는 첫 장면은 영화 전체의 메시지를 보여주며, 후반에 그의 아내가 보여주는 포용과 사랑은 관객에게 진한 여운과 잔상을 남길 것이다. 배우들의 깊이 있는 연기와 독특한 소재, 뛰어난 영상미가 돋보이는 수작. Andrei, a member of a group of Soviet troops in Germany, is ordered to return to Russia. It remains only to buy a car and, together with his beloved wife Marina, hit the road home by car. At one of the sections of the road, the spouses are stopped by police captain Malkov for checking documents. In the same second, bandits appear from nowhere and attack the passengers of a brand new foreign car. In an unequal battle, Marina dies, and Andrei is seriously injured. 모스크바 행 기차에 한 무리의 사관 생도들이 승차한다. 몇 명의 생도들이 비좁고 더러운 3등 칸을 피해 1등 칸으로 몰래 숨어 들어간다. 친구들의 장난으로 한 객실에 혼자 남겨진 사관 생도 안드레이 톨스토이(올멕 멘쉬코프)는 객실에 있던 미국 여인 제인 칼라한(줄리아 오몬드)에게 매혹된다. 제인 또한 순수한 안드레이에게 끌린다. 안드레이가 부른 모차르트의 '피가로의 결혼식'을 들은 제인의 마음은 설레인다. 그러나 제인은 사관학교의 교장이며 러시아 황제의 오른 팔인 레들로프 장군(알렉세이 페트렌코)을 유혹해 맥클레컨이라는 발명가의 실험 중인 벌목기를 러시아 정부에 납품시키기 위해 고용된 여인이었다. 레들로프를 유혹하는 데는 성공했지만 제인의 마음은 어느샌가 안드레이에게 끌린다. 한편 안드레이는 제인에 대한 자신의 사랑을 졸업식날 고백하기로 마음 먹는다. 그러나 레들로프 장군 역시 제인에게 청혼하려 하고 그는 안드레이에게 자신의 청혼의 연서를 그에게 읽게 한다. 어쩔 수 없이 장군의 청혼서를 읽던 안드레이는 갑자기 제인에게 자신의 마음을 고백해버린다.
