Pelops (Nikos Tsouka), after the appearance of the deceased brother and he has discovered a method of preparing gasoline, desperately trying to find the missing ingredient to complete the formulation. His friends (Stathis Psaltis and Antonis Papadopoulos) attempt to chase away ghosts that haunt him, which is no more than two people (Mari Karavia and Markos Lezes) who want to drive Pelops to explore the house, inside in which is hidden a treasure.

Members of an otherwise typical New York Brooklyn family are "tortured" by a kind of hereditary madness. A police officer arrests pitiable Thanasis, who admits to having stolen the trousers of a happy man in the hope of becoming happy himself, after being advised to do so by a Gypsy. He confesses that, in order to marry his girlfriend, he asked to borrow a pair of trousers, but no one would lend them to him, so he went ahead and stole a pair of trousers, but no one was willing to lend him. So he decided to steal one. The policeman assists him and finds the trouser holder and also works for Thanasis. So the latter can now marry his girlfriend and make a family.

As Pelopidas is going around hungry, trying to find something to eat, a misunderstanding makes him seem like a thief. In order to escape his persecutors, he runs trying to hide. He hitchhikes and gets a ride by a truck, whose driver happens to be his fellow villager who knows the runaway’s past. Pelopidas has been working hard since his childhood, but due to his naivety nobody is serious with him. His return to the village where was born gets him mixed up in more trouble.

Stelios Kondogiorgis (Dinos Iliopoulos) and Thomas Makrykostas (Costas Hajihristos) are two quiet men that come from the same Peloponnese village yet do not know each other. Their families however are involved in a bloody feud that started 80 years ago. Stelios and Thomas are the last male members from each family. After the last murders in the village where a member of each family died, Stelios' uncle (Pantelis Zervos) urges him to find and kill Thomas for revenge lest he finds him and kills him first. At the same time Thomas is visited by his aunt (Joly Garbi) who asks of him the same and provides him with weapons. Despite everything, neither Stelios nor Thomas are interested in murdering one another and they are both terrified from the idea that a stranger is looking for them in order to kill them. So, they decide to leave their respective jobs and hide at some remote hotel. Luck brings them together without them knowing of each other's identity as they share a room.
