겉보기에 완벽해 보이는 한 중산층 가족이 어느 날 이웃들 중 하나가 음란 전화를 받고 있다는 사실을 알게 되면서 충격에 휩싸인다. 하지만 평범하고 행복한 일상을 살고 있는 것처럼 보이는 이 가족의 주부인 비벌리가 음란전화를 건 주인공이었던 것이다. 급기야 그녀는 자신의 마음에 들지 않는 주변 사람들을 하나씩 죽여나가기 시작하는데...
