어느 날, 외계에서 온 666대의 대형 로봇이 지구를 점령하고 사람의 모습을 한 2명의 외계인이 지구의 멸망을 선언한다. 인류의 첨단 무기가 지구는 물론 장차 온 우주에 위협이 될 것이라는 이유다. 멸망을 막는 유일한 길은, 그날 해가 지기 전까지 여자 외계인 '스카이'에게 인류의 존재 가치를 증명하는 것. 하지만 외계인을 감금 중인 작전 본부에서 그 같은 메시지를 믿는 것은 인군 '마이런'뿐이다. 결국 외계 세력과의 대치 끝에 핵공격이 감행되고, 이에 로봇들이 자기빔으로 지구의 핵을 공격하면서 지구 멸망의 시간이 코앞으로 다가온다. 한편 작전 본부를 탈출해 인류의 존재 가치를 찾아 나선 마이런과 스카이는, 도중에 소중한 생명의 탄생을 목격하고 인류의 존재 이유를 깨닫게 된다.
