The Guardian Angel Tour is the concert tour by Canadian-American musical legend Alanis Morissette and support act Mario 'MC Souleye' Treadway (Husband) Alanis was also supported by Athlete (British Indie-Rock Band) in her last remaining UK shows London, Nottingham and Liverpool 2012. The tour promoted her August 2012 album Havoc and Bright Lights. The Junkie Tour (also known as Dhanyavad Tour) is the second concert tour by Canadian American recording artist, Alanis Morissette. The tour promoted her fourth studio album, Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie. Beginning October, the tour played over 100 shows in the Americas, Europe, Asia, Oceania and Africa. Recorded in Teatro Monumental, Santago de Chile, November 25, 1999.

MTV Unplugged is the first live album by Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette, released by Maverick Records in the United States on November 9, 1999 (see 1999 in music). It comprises songs performed by Morissette on the television program MTV Unplugged. Twelve tracks were included on the album, but Morissette performed several others, including "Baba", "Thank U" (both from 1998's Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie) and "Your House" (the hidden track on 1995's Jagged Little Pill), during her Unplugged concert. These were later released as B-sides on the "King of Pain" single release. The first single, "That I Would Be Good", was moderately successful, and two other tracks, "King of Pain" (a cover of the song by The Police) and "You Learn" were released as singles outside North America. As of March 2012, the album has sold 673,000 copies in the U.S.

This production, mounted December 10, 1998, commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a milestone underscored with between-songs informational segments that succinctly promote the beneficiary's themes of tolerance and social responsibility. Filmed and live cameos mix celebrities with sage comments from the Dalai Lama (whose impish "thumbs up" to the crowd elevates the entire affair) and UN Secretary General Kofi Annan. An underlying fervor also sparks much of the music, particularly from Peter Gabriel, Youssou N'Dour, Tracy Chapman, and a solo Bruce Springsteen, whose songs all allude to the human rights agenda. Alanis Morissette's brief set likewise takes on a spiritual glow consistent with both her second solo album and the context at hand, while jubilant sets from Kassav and the Asian Dub Foundation serve as potent multicultural celebrations.
