Melissa gained a BA degree in English and Drama from the University of London (Queen Mary's) and went on to work in the business side of television launching interactive digital TV channels to niche markets in the UK. Melissa had work published in trade and entertainment press as a writer and also gained the acknowledgment of ‘Media Week’ magazine’s ’30 Under 30’ competition that recognized thirty promising individuals in the media industry under thirty years old. Melissa then left the business world to pursue her acting career (for credits see IMDB). In between acting projects Melissa Launched ‘Actors Platform’ - a theatre company that runs monthly shows and workshops in London to promote actors to industry professionals. Actors Platform is now in its 5th year and earned Melissa the award of Best Producer from the London Fringe Awards. In 2006 Melissa moved to the States where she works as a writer, producer and director. Melissa worked with writer/director Jeff McCutcheon on her first short film 'Nothing' in 2007 which she wrote, co-directed and produced and which premiered at the Newport Beach Film Festival. The pair also worked together on the award-winning short ‘CHANGE’ which is currently playing on the festival circuit. Melissa’s first feature LOSING IT is being packaged at CAA and she is currently developing a TV drama series. She is repped by Creative Artists Agency and Alan Gasmer & Friends in Los Angeles.

Freyja
Thor, along with his friends, travel to a mysterious island seeking glory and fame. On arriving, they encounter strange creatures and visions, so they start searching the island for answers. Meanwhile Thor's friend Freyja tells him that his visions of a mighty hammer are clues, so they also search for the hammer.
