Seikichi, makes his living fishing from a small boat off the coast of Okinawa. He and his 12-year-old grandson Akira live in a small, tree-lined village in the northern part of the island which is surrounded by a white-sand beach and plots of pine and flowering bushes. On the cliff that skirts the shore sits an open-air burial ground containing the skull of a kamikaze pilot who was shot down during the last days of World War II. When the wind blows through the bullet hole in the skull, it produces a whistling sound. The locals call it the "Crying Head."

After spending over half his life in prison, ex-hitman Kunihiro is determined to go straight. But the shortcomings of the new gangs mean that he is soon having to call on his old-school yakuza talents. And when he falls for Asako, a beautiful piano player, she unknowingly ignites a fire within Kuni that will immolate everything and everybody around him. Regarded by many as his masterpiece, Onibi has all the hallmarks of a Mochizuki film, with the gangster elements tightly compressed and controlled to allow space in which a subdued romance can bloom. Coming from a background in porno cinema, this master of sexual relations injects a fresh passion and tension into the macho world of the yakuza film.

온갖 시시한 일들을 저지르고 다니는 마사루와 신지는 무료한 일상에 염증을 느낀다. 그러던 어느 날, 마사루는 자신이 돈을 뺏은 아이가 데려온 권투선수에게 맥없이 당하고 만다. 이에 마사루와 신지는 권투를 배우기로 하지만 신지와의 게임에서 무참히 패한 마사루는 이내 권투를 그만두고 떠난다. 고등학교를 졸업할 때까지 권투에 전념한 신지는 마침내 권투 시합에 나가지만 시합에서 지게 되면서 권투선수로서의 의지마저 꺾여버리고 만다. 또한 마사루는 야쿠자 보스들에게 버릇없는 언행을 하는 실수를 저지른다. 결국 마사루는 다시 돌아온 중간보스에 의해 린치를 당하고 만다.

A couple years have passed, Matsuzaki is divorced and has a daughter and is still up to his old compulsive gambling, boozing and womanizing even as he stares middle age in the face. At his daughter's school he meets a teacher who's similarily obsessed with horserace betting and who's also frigid - something he does his best to therapize. He also reconnects with his ex-wife, who just so happens to be the literary agent and love interest of another writer of the gambling genre. An epic gambling battle between the two ensues.

Makabe is a yakuza who is addicted to 'shabu' (a slang refers to stimulant drug). He lives as if he wants to destroy himself. He steals a mistress of the boss of a big yakuza syndicate by force. He takes over the yakuza group he belongs to, by killing the old boss. When he tries to use 'shabu' as the main finacial resource of his group, it leads to the serious confrontation with another big yakuza syndicate.

Ryo Masuda is a washed up adult video director without a leading actress. Now, he has to find someone to re-place her quick, so he can produce his latest low budget S&M video. When the young Yukie appears to turn the production into an unexpected hit, Ryo becomes drawn to the world of sadomasochism and his newfound star.

Keisuke is a timid and nerdy high-school teacher by day, and a leather clad rapist "superhero" by night. One day, one of Keisuke's students is found dead, and her death is ruled an accident. Keisuke and the girl's mother don't believe her death to be accidental – and upon investigation, Keisuke and Uncle Shotoku unknowingly delve into an underground world of shady cops, scummy drug dealers, corrupt teachers, and a rape-porn ring. Of course, with Rapeman's upstanding moral values, he must do something to avenge the young student's death, bring down the criminals and right wrongs through penetration!
Production Design
More than his indie debut Skinless Night, this was the film that launched Mochizuki on his distinctive trajectory through the crime and yakuza genres. Matsuzaki (Eiji Okuda) is a racing tipster for a sports paper, a lowlife who spends half his time drunk, hangs out with yakuza and other riff-raff and complicates his sex life by succumbing to advances from his girlfriend's sister. As played by Okuda, he's also a figure of considerable hangdog charm. Less a plot-based movie than a guide to the several forms of high stakes gambling in Japan, this centres on his attempt to help a friend swindled in a bent mahjong game. Hakuryu appears (memorably) as an inscrutable yakuza in a black leather jacket. The film's success led to two sequels.
