건축가 자격시험에 합격하지 못해 낙담한 청년이, 청각 장애가 있어도 여느 사람들처럼 춤출 수 있다는 것을 보여주려는 수화 선생을 만난다. 둘의 차이에도 불구하고, 점점 서로에게 빠져들면서 유대감을 쌓아가며 서로를 알아가는 과정들. 하지만 가까워질수록 복잡한 감정들이 끼어들고, 둘을 연결하던 상실과 결핍이 둘 사이의 관계를 멀어지게 한다는 것을 알게 된다.
